Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Boromir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boromir kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Møme – Aloha. Thomas has chosen all of the lights as his entrance music. Mike Thomas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Thomas! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas takes a shot to the body in his stride.
An inside leg kick from Thomas misses. Thomas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Boromir throws a looping overhand right but Thomas ducks down to avoid it. Boromir thuds a left hand into Thomas's body. Thomas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Captain Boromir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thomas moves out of range of the leg kick from Boromir. Boromir lands a body shot.
Boromir wants to land a leg kick but Thomas is out of range. Thomas lands a head shot. Boromir with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Thomas to score with a decent uppercut. Boromir connects with a looping right hand.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thomas walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boromir jabbing away but nothing is landing. Thomas is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Boromir with a body shot. Thomas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Boromir. Thomas on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Boromir misses with a right hand and Thomas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Boromir throws a low kick but it's checked well by Thomas. Thomas ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A low kick from Boromir misses and Thomas counters with a one-two to the body. Boromir throws a leg kick and Thomas counters with a single leg into guard. Boromir didn't expect that. This has been an exciting period of action! Thomas landing with the ground and pound. Boromir controls Thomas momentarily but Thomas frees himself.

Thomas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Thomas is stalling in the full guard. A jab from Boromir finds it's way through Thomas's defenses. Thomas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Thomas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boromir. That did some damage! Thomas throws a series of punches but Boromir avoids them all with ease. Boromir lands a nice shot to the body.
Boromir walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Thomas checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Captain Boromir is winning the standup battle so far. Boromir throws a body shot but no joy. Thomas ducks under a wild hook from Boromir. Thomas now looks to counter with a shot at the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boromir appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Mike Thomas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boromir misses with a wild body shot. Thomas misses with a shot to the body and Boromir counters with a nice uppercut. Thomas lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Boromir throws an overhand right that lands on Thomas's shoulder, as Thomas tries to avoid the shot. Thomas throws a right and a left that Boromir avoids nicely. Thomas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Thomas swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Boromir throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Thomas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Boromir connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Boromir connects with a body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boromir.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boromir lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thomas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thomas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Boromir misses with a hook

Thomas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Boromir is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thomas. Thomas ducks under a wild hook from Boromir. Thomas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boromir. A low kick from Boromir is predictable there and Thomas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Boromir throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Thomas shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Thomas lands a nice shot that snaps Boromir's head back.

Boromir throws a hook but Thomas avoids it easily. A low kick from Thomas misses enabling Boromir to counter with a crisp jab. Thomas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boromir can pounce on him.
Some bone on bone action there as Thomas checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's one minute gone in the round. Boromir pulls Thomas in close to his closed guard and prevents Thomas from doing any damage or advancing position. Boromir looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Thomas trying to control but Boromir is working from the bottom. Thomas stands and throws Boromir's legs to the side, diving into side control. Thomas scoring with punches from side control. Thomas throwing strikes but Boromir manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Thomas is not content to let Boromir control the position. A lull in the action here as Boromir stalls from top position. Mike Thomas is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boromir's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Boromir wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thomas keeps working. Boromir laying and praying for a moment but Thomas takes advantage and regains half guard.

Boromir is pressing down on Thomas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Thomas is holding on for now. Boromir wants to control but Thomas is keeping him busy. Boromir tries to pass the half guard into mount. Thomas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Boromir sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Boromir wants to pass the guard but Thomas is defending well.

Boromir scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fighters circling - Boromir throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Boromir throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Thomas has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Boromir swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Thomas shapes to counter with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Captain Boromir showed his dominance in that final round. I think Thomas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fight is ruled a draw! Captain Boromir retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
