Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ross Swann (ranked 250 p4p, 28 weight class) and Zang Zhai (ranked 390 p4p, 47 weight class). Zhai has chosen Sampans as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zhai buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Zhai tries to move into range but Swann moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Swann walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Zhai - that will leave a mark!
Swann throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zhai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zhai fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Swann.

Swann chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zhai can pounce on him.

Zhai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Swann moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ross Swann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swann has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zhai finds it's way round the side to connect with Swann's head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ross Swann will probably get the nod.

Zang Zhai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Zhai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
