The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sayonara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ng manages to avoid it.
Sayonara throws out a leg kick but Ng moves out of range and Sayonara only half commits.
Ng takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ng lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ng tries a head kick but it misses.
Sayonara scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Charles Ng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ng swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sayonara.
It looks like Jiri Sayonara has been cut.
Sayonara works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Sayonara quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Sayonara on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

We've been informed that Ng has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Ng looks to land a right hand but Sayonara moved out of range.

Ng pushes Sayonara against the cage. Ng is working some dirty boxing. Ng pushes off with a quick right hook! Sayonara goes down! Sayonara tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Ng moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles Ng!
In his post fight interview, Charles Ng started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
