Hawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M. St. Georges has chosen Jiu Jitsu as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gauthier St. Georges! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St. Georges throws a shot from downtown. Hawkins moves away and avoids it. St. Georges chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Hawkins regains full guard. Nicely done. Hawkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hawkins seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Gauthier St. Georges dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Hawkins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Gauthier St. Georges has been cut. A slapping leg kick lands for St. Georges.
St. Georges tries to clinch but Hawkins moves out of range. Hawkins throws a sloppy head kick and St. Georges moves out of range easily. St. Georges scores with a nice strike. St. Georges throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hawkins needs to keep his hands up - St. Georges had a free shot at his head there. St. Georges has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A big right from Hawkins misses. Hawkins takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. A looping hook to the body misses from St. Georges. Hawkins does a little dance to reset his feet. A little feinted left hand from Hawkins on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. This has been an exciting period of action! Hawkins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by St. Georges. Hawkins misses with a looping right.

Gauthier St. Georges seems to be getting the better of the standup. St. Georges moves out of range of the strikes. An inside leg kick lands from St. Georges. St. Georges ducks under a wild hook from Hawkins. St. Georges has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hawkins has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from St. Georges finds it's way round the side to connect with Hawkins's head. Hawkins tries a head kick but it misses.
St. Georges connects with a leg kick. Hawkins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. St. Georges has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. St. Georges shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hawkins misses the jab. Hawkins lands a jab. St. Georges displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hawkins throws out the jab. Hawkins ducks under a wild hook from St. Georges. St. Georges lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hawkins at a distance.

St. Georges tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hawkins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gauthier St. Georges seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hawkins misses with a looping left. St. Georges thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hawkins if he has to take too many more of those.

St. Georges lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
St. Georges lands a really nice looking cross but Hawkins seems unphased.

It looked like Hawkins was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. A swing and a miss from Hawkins. St. Georges looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Jab by St. Georges. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. St. Georges moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. St. Georges looks to land a left hand but Hawkins moved out of range nicely. A jab from St. Georges misses. Hawkins seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
And that's the end of the fight! Gauthier St. Georges comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well St. Georges has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
