Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Armondo Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rikkard Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Armondo Munoz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rikkard Hanson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munoz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hanson moves away. Munoz staying out of range there. Munoz throws a series of punches but Hanson avoids them all with ease. Hanson with the counter takedown but Munoz avoids it easily. Hanson throws a right hand that Munoz ducks under and follows up with a left that Munoz also avoids with ease. Hanson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Munoz ducks right into an uppercut from Hanson. Munoz tries to keep at a distance but Hanson has taken the fight into the clinch. Munoz missing with knees to the body.
Munoz slowing the pace effectively. Hanson can't get the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A battle for position here, against the cage. Munoz is trying to maintain a safe position but Hanson gets an underhook and turns Munoz into the cage. Hanson manages to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson pulls Munoz in to control the position. Munoz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hanson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Munoz stopping the sweep attempt from Hanson. Munoz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Munoz is looking to work some ground and pound but Hanson has wrist control. Munoz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hanson keeping moving, preventing Munoz from controlling successfully. Munoz preventing the sweep. Munoz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hanson wants to hit a switch here but Munoz passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hanson there! Hanson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Munoz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hanson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Munoz looking to ground and pound but Hanson is blocking nicely. Hanson taking shots to the head. Munoz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hanson because Munoz loaded up on that one. Hanson working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munoz landing punches. Munoz wants to control the action but instead Hanson gets a body lock and reverses into Munoz's guard! Nice work! Hanson passes Munoz's left leg - he's now in half guard. Munoz tries to get to full guard but Hanson has control of the leg. Munoz is working hard here to advance position. Hanson wants to pass the guard but Munoz is defending well. Hanson is working for a kimura but Munoz is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Munoz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. My spies in LOD Gym of the Gods inform me that Hanson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Munoz wants to stand up but Hanson is controlling him. Munoz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Munoz is keen to just control but Hanson is a slippery customer. Munoz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Munoz prevents Hanson from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Armondo Munoz dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hanson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Munoz to the ground. Hanson is now in Munoz's guard. Hanson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Munoz keeping full guard, as Hanson tries to pass. Munoz being controlled here, momentarily. Hanson lands a couple of decent looking shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Munoz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hanson wants to pass the guard but Munoz is keeping the position. Hanson is in close to Munoz's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munoz trying to control the position here. Hanson content to stall in guard here. Munoz has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Hanson tries to free his leg and advance position but Munoz is retaining full guard. Munoz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Munoz wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Munoz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hanson's calf. A nice leg kick lands there from Munoz. Hanson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Munoz napping and manages to drive through into side control! Munoz tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Hanson controlling his opponent. Munoz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hanson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hanson trying to control but Munoz is having none of it.

Hanson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hanson lands a heavy elbow. Munoz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hanson looking to control and managing it successfully. Hanson working Munoz over with strikes here. Hanson punishing his opponent with strikes.
It looks like Armondo Munoz has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanson lands a big shot there that rocks Munoz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Munoz is rocked! Hanson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Oh Munoz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hanson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Munoz has worked his arm free - good work by Munoz!
Munoz seems to have got his legs back now. Hanson taking a breather here. Hanson lands a nice forearm strike. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hanson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Munoz gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rikkard Hanson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Armondo Munoz's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Munoz moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Munoz checks a leg kick. Hanson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Munoz pushes Hanson off but Hanson dives into side control.
Hanson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hanson working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanson wants to control but Munoz is keeping him busy. Hanson tries to score with some ground and pound. Munoz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson tries to advance to mount but Munoz denies him. You can see the frustration on Munoz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hanson wants to control but Munoz is keeping him busy. Munoz is being controlled here. Hanson lands a decent elbow from side control.
Armondo Munoz's cut is getting worse. Munoz struggling a bit here. Munoz looking for a sweep but Hanson has passed into full mount! Oh no! Hanson trying to control but Munoz is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanson won't let Munoz get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Hanson trying to control but Munoz is having none of it. Hanson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanson tries to control but Munoz wriggling away. Munoz wants to hold on but Hanson pushes him away. Munoz bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Hanson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Let's hope that Hanson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hanson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Munoz preventing the sweep. Hanson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hanson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hanson moves into the clinch successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Rikkard Hanson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hanson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
