Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hakeem Babangida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandro Bala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bala has chosen Southpaw- Bone Thugs as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hakeem Babangida has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hakeem Babangida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sandro Bala! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babangida moves out of range of the body kick. Bala shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Babangida sprawls well. Babangida wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bala gets slowly back to his feet. Babangida changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A nice inside leg kick there by Bala. That's going to slow Babangida down. Babangida closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bala quickly recovers to half guard. Bala is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Babangida pulls his head out easily. Babangida looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bala trying to hold on to Babangida's head to control him but Babangida postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Babangida is taking a breather. Bala says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Babangida continues to stall. Bala tries to roll over but Babangida keeps him under control. Bala works his way to full guard. Good work. Bala is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Babangida has his hands clasped together but Bala extends and breaks Babangida's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bala.
