Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Vurny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden Easterly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo Vurny has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aldo Vurny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Holden Easterly! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vurny, as that shot connected.
Easterly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vurny lands a jab to the nose. Easterly on the wrong end of a nice jab. Vurny lands with a hook. Easterly tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Vurny connects with a looping right hand.
Vurny scores with a nice right hand.
Easterly tries to clinch but Vurny moves out of range. Easterly wants to clinch and Easterly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Easterly shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vurny sprawls well. Vurny wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Easterly gets slowly back to his feet. Easterly moves out of range as Vurny strikes. Vurny throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Vurny has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Holding Cell in the buildup to the fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Easterly's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vurny connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Easterly scrambles back to his feet. Vurny is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Easterly looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vurny is fending him off so far but Easterly persists. Nope, Vurny circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Easterly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vurny swats him away and circles back towards the center. Vurny lands with a straight right. Easterly didn't see that one coming. Easterly is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Easterly closes the distance looking to clinch and Vurny counters with a straight right hand. Easterly displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vurny throws out the jab. Easterly feints the counter takedown. Easterly gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Easterly looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vurny pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Easterly is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vurny working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Easterly's head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vurny's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Vurny wants to control from the top but Easterly keeps moving. Vurny is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Easterly is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Easterly throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Vurny working some strikes from top position. Vurny passes Easterly's left leg - he's now in half guard. Vurny has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This has been an exciting period of action! Vurny is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vurny is looking to take a break and control but Easterly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vurny lands strikes from half guard. Vurny is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Easterly sees it coming and defends easily. Easterly with the active half guard here but Vurny passes nicely into side control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vurny works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Easterly is looking for a sweep. Easterly takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Vurny landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Vurny tries to advance to mount but Easterly denies him. Vurny scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Easterly to see if he's OK.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Vurny staying calm. Easterly is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Easterly is still in real trouble! Can Vurny finish him? Easterly takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Easterly seems to have recovered his senses. Vurny tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Vurny working the body and head with strikes. Vurny working the ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Easterly wants to control but Vurny postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vurny lands a nice forearm strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aldo Vurny dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Vurny displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Easterly. Vurny is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Easterly can do to turn this around? Good standup being displayed there by Vurny as he connects with a hook. The fight stays on the outside here - Easterly looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Easterly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vurny swats him away and circles back towards the center. Vurny is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Vurny lands with a good body shot. Vurny lands a jab to Easterly's midsection. Easterly needs to keep his hands up - Vurny had a free shot at his head there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vurny looks to land a combination but Easterly avoids it well. Vurny throws a jab but it's blocked by Easterly. A telegraphed right hand from Vurny misses the target. Vurny scores with a shot to the body.
Easterly tries to clinch but Vurny is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Vurny. Vurny digs a good hook to Easterly's body.

Vurny appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Easterly fails in his attempt to clinch. Vurny ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Easterly moves away. Vurny swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Holden Easterly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight moves into the clinch position. Easterly is looking to take this one to the mat. Vurny has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Easterly is trying to keep an underhook but Vurny manages to get the takedown into half guard. Vurny working the head and body with strikes. Nice strikes from Vurny there. Vurny is trying to control. Easterly wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Vurny is nestled in close to Easterly, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Easterly looking for submissions off his back. Vurny is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vurny working the head and body with strikes. Vurny takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Vurny is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Easterly is hurt! He's hurt bad - Vurny fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Easterly from any more punishment! Congratulations to Vurny! Great finish!
