Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Svend Haraldsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yef Yew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yef Yew!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yew on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Yew throws a right hand that misses
and Haraldsson counters with a straight right hand.
Yef Yew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haraldsson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Yew scores with a jab to the body.
Yew checks a leg kick nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Yew! But no joy.
Haraldsson motions for Yew to come forward. Haraldsson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Haraldsson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Yew throws a lazy right hand but Haraldsson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Haraldsson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Yew throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Haraldsson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Yew has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Yew there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Yew takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Haraldsson.
Haraldsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yew moves away.

Haraldsson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yew fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haraldsson manages to avoid it.
Yew's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Haraldsson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Yew scrambles back to his feet.

Haraldsson throws a leg kick but Yew sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Haraldsson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Yew has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Yew gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Haraldsson.
Yew throws a hook but Haraldsson avoids it easily.
Haraldsson throws a solid leg kick but Yew takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Haraldsson.
A decent looking cross lands there for Haraldsson.

The fighters circling - Yew throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yew. Haraldsson does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Yew counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Yew fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Haraldsson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Haraldsson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yew. That did some damage!
Yew thuds his right hand into Haraldsson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Haraldsson avoids the body shot from Yew.
Haraldsson drops his hands momentarily and Yew takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Yew takes one on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Svend Haraldsson will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Yew counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

A less than humble Yef Yew misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
