Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rogan Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kit Dood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braga comes to the cage accompanied by Happy. Kit Dood has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rogan Braga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kit Dood! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dood sprawls well. Dood wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Braga gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Braga is defended easily by Dood. Dood tries to counter with a clinch but Braga shakes him off and moves away. Braga drives through and clinches with Dood against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dood throws a punch but it's blocked by Braga. Dood has a couple of punches blocked by Braga.
Dood tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Dood working aggressively here.
Dood scores with an uppercut up the middle. Dood fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Dood misses with a short punch on the inside. Braga is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dood pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rogan Braga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Braga wants a takedown but no success here.

Braga tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dood smiles and moves away.
Braga will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dood tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Rogan Braga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Braga forces Dood back against the cage and clinches. Dood tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Braga has Dood pressed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Braga is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Braga is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Dood looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Dood throws a head punch that misses. Braga is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dood to keep the fight standing. Braga has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A head punch on the inside from Dood fails to land. Dood misses with the head strike.
Dood swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dood working some nice short punches in the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dood has a couple of punches blocked by Braga.
Dood is pressed up against the cage. Braga has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dood down to the mat. Dood avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Braga tries for a takedown but Dood sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Braga tries to score with a low kick but Dood moves his leg out of the way. Dood tries to counter by closing the distance. Braga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dood drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Braga defends it well. Braga fails with a takedown attempt. Braga lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dood circles away quickly and effectively. Braga rushes Dood and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dood misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Braga wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Braga breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dood gets tackled into the cage by Braga. Braga maintains the clinch. Braga tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Braga gets control of Dood's arms and successfully pulls guard. Braga will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Braga is on top in guard.
Braga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dood swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dood being controlled here, momentarily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dood is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dood can do anything to dispel that myth. Braga trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kit Dood will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dood displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Braga. Dood is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Braga doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dood moves into the clinch. Dood misses with a short punch on the inside. Dood fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Braga manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Braga is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Dood has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dood has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Braga is proving hard to escape from. Braga lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dood is trying to control the position but Braga postures up. Dood controlling Braga's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Braga is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Braga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Dood looking to control.
Braga advances position into side control! Dood is looking to reverse the position. Braga tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Braga just content to control the position. Dood tries to control but Braga manages to take his back. Dood is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Further stalling from Braga. Braga has the hooks in. Dood is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. I would not like to be Dood right now.
Braga is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Dood won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Braga off his unconscious opponent!
