Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Vurny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fisher comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wasiu - Bout 02 Blow kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nathan Fisher enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aldo Vurny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vurny's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Vurny duly obliges.
Fisher gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fisher throws a looping overhand right but Vurny ducks down to avoid it.
Vurny half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Vurny closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fisher to the mat! Fisher manages to get full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fisher holds on and takes a little breather.

Fisher felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Fisher got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vurny has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fisher has managed to get both his arms back between Vurny's legs - danger averted.
