Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Costanzo De Luca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Boryska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Luca's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Foals - My Number. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Costanzo De Luca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Piotr Boryska! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boryska slips under a jab from De Luca. Boryska feints and as De Luca raises his hands in defense, Boryska changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Boryska told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Boryska trying to control but De Luca is working from the bottom. De Luca throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

De Luca is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boryska is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Luca wants to improve his position but instead Boryska has moved into half guard.

Boryska wants to lay and pray for a moment but De Luca keeps working. De Luca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Luca wants to get back to full guard. Boryska drops an elbow to the side of De Luca's head. De Luca makes his way to full guard. A much better position for De Luca. Boryska is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Boryska must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Boryska sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed De Luca's guard. De Luca wants to get back to full guard. Boryska working over De Luca with some ground and pound. De Luca looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. We've been hearing good reports from De Luca's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Boryska decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Boryska shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches De Luca napping and manages to drive through into side control! Come on De Luca, up you get! Boryska uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from De Luca. De Luca throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
De Luca seems to have got his legs back now. Boryska shoots in and gets a takedown into De Luca's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Luca has his foot on Boryska's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boryska works his way back into a safe position though. Boryska decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. De Luca misses with a body shot.
De Luca throws a hook but Boryska avoids it easily. Costanzo De Luca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boryska lands a body shot.

Boryska bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. De Luca is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Boryska is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Piotr Boryska has got the better of the ground game so far. Boryska looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. De Luca is desperately trying to improve his position but Boryska has a good base and remains in mount. Boryska has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

De Luca drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Boryska dives on top into guard. Boryska trying to control but De Luca is working from the bottom. De Luca is looking to stand up but Boryska isn't so interested in that idea. Boryska sitting in guard here, content to control. De Luca keeping moving, preventing Boryska from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. De Luca throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Piotr Boryska showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
De Luca is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boryska. De Luca throws the left hand but Boryska avoids the punch easily. Boryska takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Boryska chopping away at his opponent's legs.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boryska is looking for a kimura but De Luca is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boryska to get the leverage. Boryska stands up from half guard. De Luca misses with a wild body shot. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Boryska, right into the meat.
De Luca misses with a left hand and Boryska counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A swing and a miss from De Luca. Piotr Boryska seems to be getting the better of the standup. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Luca misses with a looping right. De Luca missing with a left hand there. Boryska was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Boryska is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Boryska shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in De Luca's guard. Boryska cracks De Luca with a solid left hand. Boryska tries to free his leg and advance position but De Luca is retaining full guard. Boryska gets to his feet - De Luca follows without any prompting. De Luca has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Boryska. Boryska works over De Luca's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Costanzo De Luca has been cut. Boryska staying out of range there. Piotr Boryska is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. De Luca misses the jab. De Luca throws a jab when Boryska was well out of range. Boryska moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Boryska advances position into side control! De Luca tries to bench press Boryska off him but Boryska keeps the position. De Luca seems a little lost for a moment, as Boryska dominates the positioning. De Luca throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Boryska prevents De Luca from getting the reversal. De Luca is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boryska's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. De Luca is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Boryska looking to control and managing it successfully. Boryska lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

De Luca is working hard here to advance position. Boryska lands a nice shot to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Boryska controlling his opponent. Let's hope that Boryska has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Piotr Boryska is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. De Luca tries to strike from the bottom but he's left himself exposed and Boryska has taken his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Piotr Boryska comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Boryska has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
