Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Kenneth Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Corn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Corn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenneth Cross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Corn! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

Cross looks to score with a jab to the body but Corn is just out of range. Cross staying out of range there. Corn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Cross has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Project:X Fight Team in the buildup to the fight. Cross moves to clinch but Corn breaks away and Corn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cross misses with a hook to the body
and Corn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Corn throws an overhand right that lands on Cross's shoulder, as Cross tries to avoid the shot. Corn misses with a looping right. Corn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cross lands a nice looking body shot.
Cross swings and misses with a shot to the body and Corn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Corn looks to land a left hand but Cross moved out of range nicely. No joy there for Corn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Corn looks to score with a jab to the body but Cross is just out of range. Corn's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cross connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Corn scrambles back to his feet. Cross swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Corn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmy Corn! Kenneth Cross was interviewed post fight and said 'Ez'.
