Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Quincy Hanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Palaktingpuet Payakarakatong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanley comes to the cage accompanied by ScHoolboy Q - Man Of The Year. Payakarakatong is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Song For The Dead". I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Palaktingpuet Payakarakatong was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payakarakatong scores with a hook to the body. Hanley takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Payakarakatong is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hanley.
It looked like Hanley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Hanley looks to score with a jab to the body but Payakarakatong is just out of range.
Payakarakatong tries to counter by closing the distance.
A slow jab from Hanley misses its intended target.
Payakarakatong tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hanley is able to avoid easily.
Payakarakatong slips a straight right by Hanley.
Payakarakatong flicks out a counter leg kick but Hanley steps away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Payakarakatong slips a jab and a cross from Hanley.
Payakarakatong appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Hanley throws out a loose jab but Payakarakatong uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hanley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Payakarakatong on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Payakarakatong fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hanley is out of range.
It looked like Hanley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Payakarakatong has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hanley finds it's way round the side to connect with Payakarakatong's head.
Payakarakatong tries to move into range but Hanley moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hanley scores with a nice head shot.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Payakarakatong throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hanley counters with a straight right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hanley blocks a jab.
Hanley throws a big counter combination but Payakarakatong scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hanley cracks Payakarakatong with a good jab.
Payakarakatong throws a head kick that misses.
Hanley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hanley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Payakarakatong sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Payakarakatong's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
It looks like Hanley has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Payakarakatong uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hanley.
Payakarakatong now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Hanley closes the distance and clinches.
Hanley lands an uppercut.
Hanley lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Hanley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A clash of legs there as Hanley blocks the low kick.
Hanley is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Hanley closes the distance and clinches.
Hanley is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Hanley manages to break the clinch.
A punch combination from Hanley misses.
Payakarakatong was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Payakarakatong gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hanley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Payakarakatong throws out the jab.
Payakarakatong misses with an uppercut
and Hanley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Payakarakatong loads up on a big right hand but Hanley slips the punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Quincy Hanley dominated that round.
That's time! Hanley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Payakarakatong throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Payakarakatong walks into a stiff left hand from Hanley.


Payakarakatong is rocked!
Hanley lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Quincy Hanley!

Quincy Hanley tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Palaktingpuet Payakarakatong spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry Thailand, I'll be back'.
