The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Handleman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Headland's guard.
Headland is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Handleman dives into side control.

Handleman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Headland will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

You get the feeling that Headland really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've been hearing that Handleman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Handleman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Headland can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like Nick Headland has been cut.
Handleman loads up with a big shot that hurts Headland! He's pulled Handleman in close but Handleman has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Headland survive? More strikes from Handleman and Headland is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

As Kelvin Handleman got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: It's official the champ and I are now both 4-0. Billy! I want my title shot and tell Darcy I'm coming for my motherfuckin belt!'.
