Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Tae Shik Cha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vik Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cha comes to the ring accompanied by Emancipator - When I Go. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tae Shik Cha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vik Vader! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cha misses with a body shot
and Vader counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Vader misses with a straight left. Vader throws a head kick that Cha semi-blocks.
Cha misses with the combination.
Cha throws a hook but Vader avoids it easily. Vader replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Cha blocks it well. Vader throws a body shot but no joy. Cha swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Vader throws out a loose jab but Cha uses good head movement to avoid it. Cha tries to clinch but fails miserably and Vader counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Vader scores with a nice strike. Nice defenses there by Cha. Vader throws the kick towards the body but Cha avoids it. Cha has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Scotty's Yard in the buildup to the fight. Decent striking displayed by Vader there. Cha lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cha's corner calls for a 1-2. Cha obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Cha is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vader scores with a nice head shot. Cha throws a right hand that misses
enabling Vader to counter with a crisp jab. Vader loads up on a big right hand but Cha slips the punch. Vader defending well as Cha loads up on a big left hand. Cha misses with a wild body shot. Vader throws a lazy right hand but Cha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cha has Vader up against the ropes in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Cha scores with a nice short uppercut. Cha breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vader tries to keep at a distance but Cha has taken the fight into the clinch. Cha tries to work over Vader's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cha lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Cha wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Cha breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cha throws a big shot that misses. Vader is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cha with a body shot. Vader lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cha uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vader has time to react. Vader jabbing away but nothing is landing. Vader has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vader there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice defenses there by Cha. Cha slips a straight right by Vader. Cha appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Cha misses with a lunging right hand
and Vader counters with a stiff right hand. Cha gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cha darts in trying to clinch and Vader counters with a stiff right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vik Vader dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Cha misses with a left hand and Vader counters with a stiff right hand. Vader throws a hook but Cha blocks it. Cha instigates a clinch. Cha is trying to force a seperation but Vader has the dominant position. Cha lands with a left to the head. Vader throws a punch but it's blocked by Cha. Cha wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cha's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Good standup being displayed there by Cha as he connects with a hook. Cha is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Vader throws a hook but Cha blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cha thows a left - swing and a miss! Cha moves in looking to clinch but Vader pushes him off. Vader rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cha moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tae Shik Cha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cha wants to clinch up but Vader keeps it at a distance. Cha looks to throw the jab but Vader is out of range.

and Cha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cha misses with a two punch combination.
Cha has Vader up against the ropes in a clinch.
Cha tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A nice right hand lands inside from Vader. Cha breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vader. Cha looks to clinch and Cha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cha looks to clinch and Vader counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nice jab there from Cha. Vader takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cha takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Vader doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cha tries to clinch but Vader moves away and Cha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vader lands with a kick to the temple. Cha shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Vader throws a half hearted mid kick. Cha swings and misses with a shot to the body and Vader connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fighters circling - Cha throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cha takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jab, jab by Cha - just one landing. Vader throws out a token jab with nothing on it. It looked like Cha wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Cha is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Some wild striking there from Cha.
Vader thinks about the counter body kick. Vader looks to throw the jab but Cha is out of range. Vader throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cha sees it coming and avoids it easily. Vader keeps the fight on the outside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vik Vader showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Vader counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cha's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vader under the eye. Vader has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Vader scoring well with a low kick there.
Vader dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cha. That did some damage! Cha misses the shot to the body. Cha scores with the left hand. Vader knows he should have avoided that one. Cha misses with a wild combination.
Cha throws a lazy right hand but Vader sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A decent looking cross lands there for Vader. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cha on the wrong end of a nice jab. Cha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vader moves away. Cha moves out of range of the strikes. Vader throws a wild body kick that Cha sees coming a mile off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vader steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cha. Vader circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Vader to counter with a crisp jab. Cha throws a right hand that misses
and Vader connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Vader stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Vik Vader seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cha forces Vader back against the ropes and clinches. A head punch on the inside from Cha fails to land. Tae Shik Cha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vader breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Vader uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cha. Cha misses with a body shot.
Vader looks like he wants to counter punch here. Cha wants to clinch. Vader scores with a nice head shot.

Cha clinches up with Vader and pushes him back against the ropes. Vader lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cha backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cha is trying to push Vader away but Vader has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Vader pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cha looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Cha throws a lazy right hand but Vader sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vader. Cha connects with a jab. Vader tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Vader feints and then cracks Cha's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cha down. Vader buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vik Vader is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cha ducks under a wild hook from Vader. Cha is looking to counter punch.
And that's the end of the fight! Vik Vader comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Vader winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
