Silver Jr has chosen The Return as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Thomas Silver Jr enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Silver Jr!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver Jr misses with a right hand

and Murphy counters by moving into the clinch.
Murphy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Silver Jr's efforts to push away.
Murphy is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Silver Jr is keeping busy.
Murphy throws a punch but it's blocked by Silver Jr.
Murphy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Silver Jr manages to break the clinch.
Silver Jr keeps the fight on the outside.
A telegraphed right hand from Silver Jr misses the target.
Murphy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Silver Jr uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Silver Jr throws a right and a left that Murphy avoids nicely.
Murphy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Silver Jr finds it's way round the side to connect with Murphy's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silver Jr misses with an uppercut.
A head kick from Murphy lands but Silver Jr takes it in his stride.
Silver Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murphy manages to avoid it.

Murphy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Martin Murphy has been cut.
Murphy moves out of range of the strikes.
Silver Jr takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Murphy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silver Jr throws a low kick but Murphy moves out of range easily.
Murphy misses with a head kick.
Silver Jr throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Murphy on the side of the head.
Silver Jr throws a lazy uppercut
and Murphy counters with a thumping low kick.
Murphy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Murphy there as he acknowledges the shot.
Silver Jr might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silver Jr misses with an uppercut
and Murphy makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Silver Jr really felt that one!

Silver Jr throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Murphy wants to clinch.
Silver Jr misses with a looping right.
Murphy throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Silver Jr moves out of range of the body kick from Murphy.
Murphy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Silver Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Murphy cracks the inside of Silver Jr's front leg.
Silver Jr keeps the fight on the outside.
Silver Jr throws a lazy right hand but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Murphy is looking to clinch.

A close round but Thomas Silver Jr will probably get the nod.

Silver Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silver Jr, as that shot connected.
Silver Jr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silver Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Murphy moves out of range easily.
Murphy tries to counter by clinching up but Silver Jr breaks away and moves out of range.

Silver Jr is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Silver Jr pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Silver Jr thuds his right hand into Murphy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Silver Jr throws a low kick, looking for Murphy's leg but Murphy calmly moves out of range.
Silver Jr throws a chopping leg kick but Murphy manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Silver Jr has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

and Silver Jr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The fighters circling - Silver Jr throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Murphy lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Silver Jr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Murphy.

Murphy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Silver Jr backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Murphy prevents Silver Jr from breaking the clinch.
Murphy trying to control the position but instead, Silver Jr has worked for underhooks and has pushed Murphy into the ropes.
Murphy swings wildly with an uppercut but Silver Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
A short body shot lands from Silver Jr as the two fighters clinch.

Murphy misses with a short punch on the inside.
Silver Jr tries to break free but Murphy pushes him back against the ropes.
Thomas Silver Jr is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Murphy lands a left hand.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Silver Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Martin Murphy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Thomas Silver Jr seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Silver Jr cracks Murphy with a right hand to the side of the head.
Silver Jr tries to land a front kick but Murphy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Thomas Silver Jr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Silver Jr winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
