Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elie Sounamana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan David!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sounamana sets himself, and David steps forward looking for the clinch! Sounamana avoids it this time.
David misses with a wild body shot.
Sounamana on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
David misses with a straight right.
Sounamana looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
David lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Sounamana scores with a sloppy right hand. David should have avoided that one.
Sounamana slips a jab from David.
David misses with a straight right.
Sounamana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but David paws at him with a jab and circles away.
David wants to counter the offense by Sounamana and move into the clinch position.
David walks into a left hand.
David looks to land a combination but Sounamana avoids it well.
David throws a lazy right hand but Sounamana sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
David misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sounamana.

David throws a big shot that misses.
David takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Juan David has been cut.

Sounamana with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Sounamana ducks under a wild hook from David.
A punch lands to the side of Sounamana 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sounamana is pawing at David, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into David's nose. David is badly hurt! Sounamana pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! David tries desperately to hold on but Sounamana is relentless in his assault! As David receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Sounamana away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elie Sounamana!
Elie Sounamana gave a mention to Sully's Bar & Grill in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
