Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Solomon Nao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donal Maciver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nao might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The End. Maciver is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gallantry - CFO$. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nao misses with a leg kick
and Maciver counters with a straight right hand.
Maciver takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nao throws a big shot that misses.
Maciver wants to counter the offense by Nao and move into the clinch position.

enabling Maciver to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Solomon Nao has been cut.
Nao loads up on a big right hand but Maciver slips the punch.

I was talking to Nao's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Maciver tries to bum rush Nao with a series of wild strikes but Nao uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maciver's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nao connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Maciver scrambles back to his feet.
Nao throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Maciver on the side of the head.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
