Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cristian Tavares (ranked 282 p4p, 35 weight class) and Scott Keene (ranked 922 p4p, 113 weight class). Tavares comes to the cage accompanied by I DON'T GET TIRED. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cristian Tavares! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Keene! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tavares throws a nice outside leg kick. Tavares looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Keene slips under a jab from Tavares. Keene throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tavares sees it coming and avoids it easily. Keene scores with a jab.
It looks like Cristian Tavares has been cut. Tavares misses with a head kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Tavares. Tavares slips a straight right by Keene. Tavares lands a right hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tavares throws a leg kick which misses Keene's front leg but catches the back leg as Keene tries to avoid it. Keene throws a shot from downtown. Tavares moves away and avoids it. Tavares uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Keene.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tavares swings widly with a right hand
enabling Keene to counter with a crisp jab. Tavares moves into range and clinches up with Keene. Keene misses with a hook to the ribs.
Tavares softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Keene lands a right hand. Tavares pulls guard effortlessly. Tavares is looking for a triangle but Keene pushes his legs off easily.
Tavares escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Keene gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tavares trying to keep a closed guard but Keene is proving a slippery customer.
Keene slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keene is fighting to break Tavares's control of his arms but Tavares is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Keene really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tavares. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tavares has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Keene can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Keene is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Keene postures up.
Tavares is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tavares is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tavares is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Keene defends well. Tavares is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Keene frees his head nicely. Oh but Tavares has switched to an armbar! Keene is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Cristian Tavares! A less than humble Cristian Tavares misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
