The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maximov swivels and escapes.
Bam displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maximov throws out the jab.
Bam takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bam gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bam looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bam showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Maximov.
Maximov lands a big shot that drops Bam! Can he finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bam looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maximov is one step ahead there.
Bam is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Maximov has his hands clasped together but Bam extends and breaks Maximov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bam.

After winning the bout, Bam Bam thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
