Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Green (ranked 1667 p4p, 261 weight class) and Jordan Belfort (ranked 2206 p4p, 341 weight class). Green kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Boom Boom. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Belfort! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green pushes Belfort up against the cage in a clinch. Belfort misses with a punch to the body.
Green wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Green is trying to pull guard but Belfort turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Belfort swings wildly with an uppercut but Green uses good head movement to avoid it. Belfort has a couple of punches blocked by Green.
Belfort goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Belfort misses with a short punch on the inside. Green is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Belfort to keep the fight standing. A battle for position here, against the cage. Green working hard to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green wants to get back to striking at distance but Belfort won't allow it.
Belfort tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Green's elbow. Green blocks a body shot from Belfort. We've been informed that Belfort has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Belfort misses with the head strike.
Belfort tries to throw a body punch but Green avoids it by throwing Belfort back against the cage. Green tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belfort misses with a punch on the inside.
Belfort lands a right hand. Green with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A short right from Belfort. Belfort misses with a short punch on the inside. Belfort gets through Green's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Green has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Belfort avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Green. That's going to take a lot out of him. Green jumps guard and drags Belfort to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Green is trying to keep Belfort in close.
Green wants to sweep here but Belfort controlling him for the moment. Green keeping moving, preventing Belfort from controlling successfully. Green is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Belfort is controlling him. Green manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Belfort manages to get himself to full guard.
Belfort is trying to control the position but Green postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Belfort is keeping the position for now. Green is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Green throws a strike but Belfort rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Belfort throwing strikes from guard but Green blocks nicely. Belfort stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard. Belfort stands up and waves to Green to follow him. Belfort keeps the fight on the outside. Good leg kick by Belfort there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green shoots in but Belfort avoids the takedown attempt easily. Belfort throws out a counter right but Green avoids it with no problem. Crunch! Green slams his shin into Belfort's torso. Green fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Belfort sprawls well initially but Green persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Green stalling away here and it's allowed Belfort to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Green tries to free his leg and advance position but Belfort is retaining full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Green is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Green wants to stand and escape but instead Belfort has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Belfort dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Green on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Belfort connects with a right hand. Green shakes it off. Green plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Green throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Belfort but Belfort pushes him off and we're back to square one. Belfort keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Belfort has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green needs to keep his hands up - Belfort had a free shot at his head there. Belfort lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Belfort motions for Green to come forward. Belfort throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belfort throws a low kick, looking for Green's leg but Green calmly moves out of range. Green seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Green blocks a leg kick. Green appears to be looking for a big counter. Belfort looks for the body kick but Green saw that one coming. As Belfort looks to move away, Green throws a big counter combo but Belfort just gets out of the way. Belfort tried to score with a low kick but Green checks it. Green doesn't succeed with the takedown and Belfort cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Green. That's going to take a lot out of him. Belfort lands a lovely overhand right. Belfort throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Green misses with a takedown attempt and Belfort counters with a crisp one two that drops Green! Belfort thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Green to his feet! Green is in big trouble!
Green is rocked! Green fails with the takedown and Belfort counters with a monster head kick that knocks Green out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!

A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Jordan Belfort made sure he mentioned FORCEE, along with how happy he was to win his fight. Paul Green was interviewed post fight and said 'This blows!!!!!'.
