Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Tourney Fighter (ranked 3326 p4p, 328 weight class) and Kick Boxer (ranked 2846 p4p, 284 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tourney Fighter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kick Boxer! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boxer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Kick Boxer has been cut. Boxer moves out of range of the body kick. Fighter goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Fighter swats away the attempt to clinch by Boxer. Boxer drops his hands momentarily and Fighter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Fighter lands a nice hook to Boxer's body. Boxer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Boxer defending well as Fighter loads up on a big left hand. Boxer tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Boxer moves out of range of the strikes. Fighter thuds his right hand into Boxer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Fighter connects with an inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boxer misses with a body kick. Fighter seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Fighter throws a lazy right hand but Boxer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A nice side step and Boxer releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Boxer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fighter - the referee stops the clock and Boxer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fighter. Boxer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Boxer blocks a jab. Fighter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter dips to his left and cracks Boxer with an uppercut! Fighter swings widly with a right hand
and Boxer counters with a nice body kick. We've been hearing reports that Fighter has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Boxer lands a glancing blow to the side of Fighter's head. No joy there for Boxer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fighter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fighter throws a shot from downtown. Boxer moves away and avoids it. Boxer drops his hands momentarily and Fighter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice body punch from Boxer. Fighter takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Boxer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fighter. Fighter looks to land a right hand but Boxer moved out of range. Fighter moves away from the strike by Boxer. Fighter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Boxer. Boxer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Boxer has Fighter up against the ropes in a clinch.
Boxer misses with a hook from the clinch. Fighter lands an elbow that stopped Boxer in his tracks for a moment. Fighter tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Boxer avoids it. Fighter breaks from the clinch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fighter. Boxer lands a glancing blow to the side of Fighter's head. Boxer lands with a shot to the body. Fighter cracks Boxer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Donk. Fighter catches Boxer right on the button with a cross. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boxer walks into a stiff left hand from Fighter.
Boxer is rocked! Fighter throws a head kick that misses and Boxer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fighters circling - Fighter throws out the jab but it was never going to land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tourney Fighter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kick Boxer's cut. That's time! Fighter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Boxer counters with a body kick that stops Fighter in his tracks momentarily. Tourney Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boxer throws a body punch but Fighter moves out of range. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Fighter here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Fighter connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Fighter throws a sloppy head kick and Boxer moves out of range easily. Boxer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Boxer blocks a jab. Boxer walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fighter. Fighter throws a shot to the body.
Fighter pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Fighter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boxer. Fighter slips a straight right by Boxer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fighter dips to his left and cracks Boxer with an uppercut! Boxer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boxer throws a sloppy head kick and Fighter moves out of range easily. Fighter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boxer counters with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter throws a right hand that misses
and Boxer counters with a nice uppercut. Boxer throws a wild body kick that Fighter sees coming a mile off. Fighter feints and then cracks Boxer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boxer down. Boxer avoids the head kick by Fighter.

Fighter misses with a left hand and Boxer counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Fighter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boxer.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Boxer! But no joy. Fighter connects with a jab. Tourney Fighter is winning the standup battle so far. Boxer swats away the attempt to clinch by Fighter. Fighter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boxer. That did some damage! Boxer ducks under a wild hook from Fighter. Boxer swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter misses with a head kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boxer misses with an uppercut. Boxer circles away from the clinch attempt and Boxer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fighter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boxer can do to turn this around? A looping hook to the body misses from Boxer. Fighter does a little dance to reset his feet. Boxer catches Fighter with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fighter is rocked! Boxer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fighter moves away. Boxer ducks under a wild hook from Fighter. Fighter chopping away at his opponent's legs.

and Boxer counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boxer throws the left hand but Fighter avoids the punch easily. Fighter throws a push kick but Boxer slaps the foot to one side. Boxer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fighter at a distance.

A close second round but Kick Boxer will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Kick Boxer's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Boxer looks low and kicks high, catching Fighter right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it! Boxer cracks Fighter with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Fighter get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Fighter looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue! Boxer has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fighter misses with a hook. Fighter lands a nice looking body kick. Boxer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Boxer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Fighter fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Boxer is out of range. Boxer is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Boxer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fighter throws out the jab. Boxer thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter throws a right and a left that both miss. Donk. Fighter catches Boxer right on the button with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boxer throws a looping overhand right but Fighter ducks down to avoid it. A quick step to the side and Fighter tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Boxer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Boxer clinches. Boxer throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A short right from Boxer on the inside. Fighter avoids a wild elbow strike from Boxer. Fighter blocks an uppercut.
Boxer has Fighter pressed against the ropes, preventing Fighter from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Fighter lands with a light punch inside. Fighter blocks a body shot from Boxer. A nice left hand lands by Fighter.

Fighter lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Fighter throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fighter seems to have got his legs back now. Fighter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boxer ducks under a wild hook from Fighter. Fighter scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Boxer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boxer misses with an uppercut. Fighter saw that one coming. The fight stays on the outside here - Fighter looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fighter throws a hook but Boxer blocks it. A head kick misses from Fighter. Boxer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Fighter with a body shot. Jab by Fighter. Boxer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fighter. A telegraphed right hand from Fighter misses the target. The fighters circling - Fighter throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Fighter throws a front kick aimed at Boxer's knee but Boxer avoids it well. Boxer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fighter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Crunch! Fighter slams his shin into Boxer's torso. Fighter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Fighter throws a jab but it's blocked by Boxer.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kick Boxer. I think Boxer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
