Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Steve (ranked 368 p4p, 55 weight class) and Bradley Johnson (ranked 576 p4p, 82 weight class). Steve comes to the cage accompanied by XXXTENTACION - Look At Me. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bradley Johnson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Steve!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jab by Steve.
Mark Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steve throws a right hand that misses
and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Mark Steve has been cut.
Steve lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Bradley Johnson has been cut.
Steve seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A swing and a miss from Johnson.
Steve stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steve missing with a left hand there. Johnson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Steve swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steve drops Johnson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Johnson looks back up at him and smiles so Steve waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nice body punch from Steve.
A combination from Steve does no damage.
A little jabbing left from Johnson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Johnson swings widly with a right hand
and Steve counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Steve's corner calls for a 1-2. Steve obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steve connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Johnson is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Steve drops Johnson with a naaaaasty hook - Johnson is in real trouble here! Steve dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Steve!
Mark Steve retains his light heavyweight title!
After the fight, Mark Steve was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
