Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taiga Jim (ranked 501 p4p, 70 weight class) and Rauta Kansleri (ranked 196 p4p, 32 weight class). Kansleri has chosen U.D.O. - Heart of Gold as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taiga Jim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rauta Kansleri! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good work by Jim as he checks the leg kick. Jim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kansleri. Kansleri is looking to score with low kicks. Jim lands a nice shot that snaps Kansleri's head back.
Kansleri fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jim checks it well. Jim attempts a counter takedown but Kansleri avoids it well and moves away. Jim throws a lazy uppercut
and Kansleri counters with a leg kick. Jim misses with a hook. Kansleri ducked under it nicely. Jim drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jim keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kansleri's head. Jim throws a big right hand that misses. Jim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kansleri wants to sweep here but Jim controlling him for the moment. Kansleri is pulling down on Jim's head. It's preventing any offense from Jim, at least for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kansleri lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jim seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Jim looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kansleri is one step ahead there. Kansleri trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kansleri is still trying to improve position. Jim looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kansleri tries to stand but Jim is controlling from the bottom. Jim is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kansleri slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kansleri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jim moves away. Jim swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A left lands for Jim. Kansleri wants to clinch up but Jim keeps it at a distance. Jim jabs Kansleri to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kansleri slips a jab from Jim. Kansleri tries a quick counter leg kick but Jim is wise to it. A big right from Jim misses. Kansleri throws the left hand but Jim avoids the punch easily. Kansleri takes a swing at Jim's ribcage but misses. Kansleri does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Taiga Jim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jim circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jim throws a series of punches but Kansleri avoids them all with ease. Kansleri blocks a jab. Jim checks a low kick from Kansleri.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kansleri lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jim lands with a straight right. Kansleri didn't see that one coming. Kansleri gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short right from Kansleri. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jim working aggressively here.
Kansleri keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jim's efforts to push away. Kansleri throws a head punch that misses. Jim is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jim goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kansleri prevents it.
Jim drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kansleri gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taiga Jim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jim lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kansleri backwards. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kansleri struggles to land a body shot inside as Jim controls his hands.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Taiga Jim dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kansleri misses the body punch and Jim counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kansleri buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jim misses the jab. Kansleri flicks out a counter leg kick but Jim steps away. Taiga Jim is winning the standup battle so far. Kansleri defending well as Jim loads up on a big left hand. Kansleri's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jim connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kansleri scrambles back to his feet. Kansleri throws a hook to the side of Jim's head but Jim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kansleri connects with a jab. Jim misses with an uppercut. Kansleri saw that one coming. Jim lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kansleri darts in and clinches Jim up against the cage. Jim pushes Kansleri back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Jim is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kansleri can do to turn this around? An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jim. Kansleri misses with a hook to the ribs.
A short right from Jim. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jim pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A shot to the body from Kansleri misses and Jim counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jim slips under a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jim lands with a cross. A nice inside leg kick there by Kansleri. That's going to slow Jim down. Kansleri steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jim. Kansleri throws a leg kick which misses Jim's front leg but catches the back leg as Jim tries to avoid it. Jim connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kansleri momentarily.
Jim blocks a low kick nicely. Kansleri does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jim scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jim throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kansleri gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jim. Kansleri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jim. Kansleri dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jim. That did some damage! Kansleri avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jim tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kansleri defends well and Jim ends up having to push Kansleri into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Jim misses with an uppercut. Kansleri throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jim feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kansleris jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jim throws a body punch but Kansleri moves out of range. Jim takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jim fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jim jabs at Kansleri's body. Kansleri displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jim throws out the jab. Rauta Kansleri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jim lands a slapping body shot.

Kansleri uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jim. Jim avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kansleri.
Jim throws a body punch but Kansleri moves out of range. Kansleri throws a right hand that Jim ducks under and follows up with a left that Jim also avoids with ease. Kansleri throws a head kick but Jim moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jim. Kansleri does a little dance to reset his feet. Kansleri shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Kansleri throws a leg kick that misses. Kansleri swings for the body but Jim moves out of range.
Kansleri lands a jab to the head.
Jim swings and misses with a shot to the body and Kansleri counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kansleri takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Jim manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kansleri on his heels. He'll look to pass Kansleri's guard now, I'm sure. Jim scoring with punches to the head and body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kansleri looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jim is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jim being controlled here momentarily. Kansleri looking for a sweep. Not yet Kansleri, not yet. Jim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kansleri looking for a sweep. Not yet Kansleri, not yet. Jim tries to free his leg and advance position but Kansleri is retaining full guard. Jim won't allow Kansleri to sweep him here. Jim is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jim's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Taiga Jim dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice uppercut there from Jim. Kansleri goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kansleri fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jim is out of range. Jim is looking to counter punch. Jim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jim lands a jab to the nose. Jim throws a series of punches but Kansleri moves out of range. Kansleri is looking for the big counter here. A telegraphed right hand from Jim misses the target. Kansleri takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kansleri loads up on a big right hand but Jim slips the punch. Kansleri lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jim's sensitive parts. Kansleri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jim was well out of range. Poor timing from Kansleri. Kansleri tries to clinch but Jim is having none of it. Jim throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kansleri missing with a left hand there. Jim was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kansleri misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kansleri wants to clinch up but Jim keeps it at a distance. Kansleri misses with a looping right. Jim works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Jim misses with a head kick.

It seemed like Kansleri was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Jim throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kansleri sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jim avoids the head kick by Kansleri.
Kansleri fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kansleri throws the left hand but Jim avoids the punch easily. Jim appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kansleri takes one to the chin there. Jim sizes up Kansleri with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Jim checks a leg kick. Jim changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Jim lands a right hook to the body.
Kansleri gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jim misses with a straight right. Rauta Kansleri has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

and Kansleri counters with a straight right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kansleri takes a swing at Jim's ribcage but misses. Kansleri throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jim on the side of the head. Kansleri throws a low kick but Jim moves out of range easily. Jim lands with a hook. Kansleri tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kansleri drops Jim with a beautiful combination! Jim stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kansleri is looking for the KO!
Jim is rocked! A slow jab from Kansleri misses its intended target. Oh Jim is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jim connects with a looping right hand.
Kansleri uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jim. Jim seems to have got his legs back now. Jim paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kansleri swings for the body but Jim moves out of range.
Kansleri jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jim lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kansleri throws a shot from downtown. Jim moves away and avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jim will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jim avoids the body shot from Kansleri.
Jim blocks a leg kick. Jim half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Jim pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kansleri takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jim closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kansleri quickly recovers to half guard. Jim is looking to stall here but Kansleri recovers full guard. Jim connects with a couple of short punches. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kansleri utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kansleri keeping full guard, as Jim tries to pass. Jim is fighting to break Kansleri's control of his arms but Kansleri is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jim trying to control but Kansleri is working from the bottom. Kansleri wants to improve his position but instead Jim has moved into half guard.
Kansleri is controlling Jim's position as best he can from this difficult position. Taiga Jim is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jim passes to side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kansleri tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Taiga Jim showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jim, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
