Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Asuh Duh (ranked 7960 p4p, 794 weight class) and Phil McKinnen (ranked 7793 p4p, 787 weight class). McKinnen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Young Cardinals. Asuh Duh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Phil McKinnen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Asuh Duh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil McKinnen! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKinnen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duh wants to clinch. Duh connects with a body shot. McKinnen slips a jab from Duh. McKinnen misses with a body shot.
Duh instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKinnen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Duh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duh tries to clinch up. McKinnen was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. McKinnen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Phil McKinnen has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duh jabbing away but nothing is landing. Duh doesn't manage to clinch there - McKinnen circles away.
A little jabbing left from McKinnen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Duh throws a combination that misses and McKinnen counters with a three punch combo that has Duh backing up. Duh nods at McKinnen to acknowledge the strikes. McKinnen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Duh tries to clinch there but McKinnen circles away.
Duh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but McKinnen paws at him with a jab and circles away. McKinnen moves out of range as Duh throws a body kick.
McKinnen blocks a head kick by Duh.
McKinnen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Duh getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Duh waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McKinnen. Duh fails to land with a series of punches.
Duh throws a head kick that misses. Duh tries to clinch but McKinnen is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McKinnen throws a jab when Duh was well out of range. Phil McKinnen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Duh uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McKinnen. Duh fails in his attempt to clinch. McKinnen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A little jabbing left from McKinnen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Duh throws a head kick but McKinnen moves out of range.
McKinnen appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Duh fails in his attempt to clinch. McKinnen is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Duh with a body shot. McKinnen keeps the fight on the outside. McKinnen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Duh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but McKinnen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duh tries to grapple but his opponent circles and McKinnen counters with a straight punch to the midsection. McKinnen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Duh to score with a decent uppercut. McKinnen avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asuh Duh dominated that round. The cut man is working on Phil McKinnen's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Duh fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McKinnen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Asuh Duh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duh tries to clinch up. Duh tries to clinch but McKinnen moves out of range. Duh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but McKinnen paws at him with a jab and circles away. McKinnen now looks to counter with a shot at the body. McKinnen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McKinnen appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. McKinnen walks into a big right hand from Duh and goes down! The referee sends Duh to a neutral corner as McKinnen gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way. Duh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but McKinnen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Duh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McKinnen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McKinnen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duh moves away. Duh scores with a jab to the body. Asuh Duh is winning the standup battle so far. McKinnen is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duh is looking to clinch. Duh tries to clinch but McKinnen is having none of it. Duh doesn't manage to clinch there - McKinnen circles away.
It seemed like McKinnen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Duh tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. McKinnen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McKinnen appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Duh tries to clinch there but McKinnen circles away.
Duh is looking to clinch. Duh closes the distance and lands a lead uppercut that stumbles McKinnen back against the ropes! Duh follows up with a jab and a huge straight right that knocks McKinnen out cold! What a finish! Duh looks absolutely delighted, as he should do! Congratulations that man!
