Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
37 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas Bane!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bane pivots, looking for a leg kick but Perkele is out of range and Bane settles back down.
Bane lands with an overhand left.
Bane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Perkele.
Perkele on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bane shoots in and gets a takedown into Perkele's guard.
Bane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Perkele is working an open guard so Bane takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bane scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Perkele misses with a low kick.
Bane cracks the inside of Perkele's front leg.
Bane listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Perkele bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lucas Bane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bane lands a high kick!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bane scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Bane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Bane slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bane scores with the left hand. Perkele knows he should have avoided that one.
Bane throws a sloppy head kick and Perkele moves out of range easily.
Perkele defending well as Bane loads up on a big left hand.
It looked like Perkele was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bane.
Bane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bane tries a quick counter leg kick but Perkele is wise to it.
Bane ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Perkele counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Bane to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Perkele!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Itse Perkele!
