Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Sutter Cane (ranked 5989 p4p, 493 weight class) and Tourney Fighter (ranked 4020 p4p, 373 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sutter Cane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tourney Fighter! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cane. Cane obviously looking to wear him down.
Both fighters circling a little - Fighter finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Fighter throws a right and a left that both miss. Fighter throws a hook but Cane blocks it. Fighter checks the leg kick nicely there.
Fighter walks into a jab. Cane looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Cane defending well as Fighter loads up on a big left hand. Cane gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Fighter throws a push kick but Cane slaps the foot to one side. Cane throws a body shot but no joy. Cane avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nice defenses there by Cane. Fighter looks to land a right hand but Cane moved out of range. Cane throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter avoids it. Fighter looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Cane lands a nice shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fighter looks to throw the jab but Cane is out of range. Cane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fighter. Cane waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fighter. Fighter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fighter scores with a shot to the body.
Cane throws a right and a left that Fighter avoids nicely. Fighter misses with a two punch combination.
Fighter throws out a leg kick but Cane moves out of range and Fighter only half commits. Fighter misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cane tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fighter is able to avoid easily. Fighter scores with a decent looking hook. Cane throws an overhand right that lands on Fighter's shoulder, as Fighter tries to avoid the shot. Cane blocks a head kick by Fighter.
Cane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A leg kick checked by Fighter. Good leg kick by Fighter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fighter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cane throws a leg kick that misses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cane, as that shot connected.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Fighter - that will leave a mark!
Cane moves out of range of the strikes. Fighter misses with a low kick. Fighter scores with a nice strike. Fighter connects with a single shot there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cane scores with the left hand. Fighter knows he should have avoided that one. Cane blocks a head kick by Fighter.
Fighter slips under a jab. Cane throws a front kick aimed at Fighter's knee but Fighter avoids it well. A swing and a miss from Fighter. Fighter moves into range and clinches up with Cane. Fighter landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Fighter just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cane's brow. Cane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fighter tries to clinch but Cane is having none of it. Cane throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Fighter raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Cane looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Donk. Cane catches Fighter right on the button with a cross. The fight stays on the outside here - Fighter looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fighter tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Cane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Fighter looks to score with a jab to the body but Cane is just out of range. Cane ducks under a wild hook from Fighter. Cane avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fighter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Cane is looking to counter punch. Cane throws out a loose jab but Fighter uses good head movement to avoid it. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cane looks for the body kick but Fighter saw that one coming. Fighter slips under a jab. Cane backing away here, and Fighter unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Fighter misses with a straight right. Fighter blocks a leg kick. A big right from Fighter misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tourney Fighter dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cane.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Cane bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Cane on the wrong end of a nice hook. Fighter throws a shot from downtown. Cane moves away and avoids it. Cane takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Sutter Cane has been cut. Fighter on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cane. Cane obviously looking to wear him down.
Cane uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fighter. Fighter pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Fighter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cane throws a nice outside leg kick. Fighter slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Fighter thows a left - swing and a miss! Cane misses with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cane cracks Fighter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Fighter tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. That kick from Cane tenderised Fighter's leg. Fighter is trying to keep his angry face on. Cane stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Cane connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Fighter loads up on a big right hand but Cane slips the punch. Fighter connects with a solid leg kick. Cane swats away the attempt to clinch by Fighter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cane throws a body punch but Fighter moves out of range. Nice body punch from Cane. Cane takes one to the chin there. Fighter throws a low kick, looking for Cane's leg but Cane calmly moves out of range. Fighter on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fighter's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Fighter drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Fighter looks to score with a jab to the body but Cane is just out of range. Fighter takes a swing at Cane's ribcage but misses. Fighter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cane. Fighter throws a shot from downtown. Cane moves away and avoids it. An attempted straight right counter from Cane misses the target. A nice leg kick lands there from Cane. Fighter misses with a straight right. Fighter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Cane throws out a powerful jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cane fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Fighter throws a head kick but Cane moves out of range.

Cane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fighter throws out the jab. Cane misses with a hook. Fighter ducked under it nicely. A looping hook to the body misses from Cane. Fighter does a little dance to reset his feet. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Fighter. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Fighter throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Cane throws a front kick aimed at Fighter's knee but Fighter avoids it well. The fighters circling - Cane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Cane - that will leave a mark!
Fighter takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fighter walks into a jab. Cane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Fighter feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cane's calf. Fighter lands with a straight right. Cane didn't see that one coming. Fighter throws a front kick aimed at Cane's knee but Cane avoids it well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fighter throws a wild body kick that Cane sees coming a mile off. Tourney Fighter seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fighter throws a big shot that misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Cane. Fighter moves into the clinch. Fighter misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cane scores with a shoulder strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sutter Cane will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sutter Cane's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Fighter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Good shot there by Fighter. Fighter pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A left lands for Cane. Cane looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cane connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A nice leg kick lands there from Fighter. Cane blocks a low kick nicely. Fighter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cane can pounce on him.
Fighter tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Cane looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A good leg kick by Cane. Cane punishes Fighter's body with a nice straight punch. This has been an exciting period of action! Cane throws a jab but it's blocked by Fighter. Cane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fighter on the side of the head. A head kick misses from Fighter. Cane gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fighter. Cane throws a leg kick but Fighter checks it. Cane throws a quick inside leg kick. Fighter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Cane misses with a low kick.

And Cane counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter blocks it. Nice defenses there by Cane. Fighter scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Cane swings and misses with a shot to the body and Fighter counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cane takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Cane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nice straight punches there by Cane. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cane. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cane chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Fighter throws an overhand right that lands on Cane's shoulder, as Cane tries to avoid the shot. Cane lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Fighter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cane lands a slapping body shot.

Fighter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cane ducks under a wild hook from Fighter. Fighter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cane.
Fighter looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Nice defenses there by Cane.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sutter Cane. I think Cane has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
