Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Greek God (ranked 5527 p4p, 567 weight class) and Francisco Junior (ranked 3777 p4p, 438 weight class). God comes to the ring accompanied by KINGS - Bikini | Μπικίνι. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Greek God! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Francisco Junior! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! God throws a jab when Junior was well out of range. God fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Junior gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and God counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Junior shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. God defends it nicely. God is looking to counter punch. God changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. God has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Gimme Yo Money GYM in the buildup to the fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junior dives in and grabs God's left leg, looking for a takedown. God pushes down on Junior's head and hops out. God swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Greek God has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francisco Junior. Junior closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. God did well to prevent Junior getting side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so God is just riding it out for now. Junior eventually gives up the hold. God is defending against the submission attempts here by Junior.
Junior seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but God does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Junior not doing much here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Junior is looking to take a break and control but God is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. God is not content to let Junior control the position. Junior trying to mount his opponent but God defends it. Junior is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. God doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Junior. God tries to get to full guard but Junior has control of the leg.

God is looking to escape. Junior is trying to work for a kimura but God is defending well.

We've been informed that Junior has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Junior fails with a takedown attempt. An attempted straight right counter from God misses the target. Junior takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A momentary lapse in concentration from God enables Junior to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. God manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. God will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Junior wants to pass the guard but God is keeping the position. Junior trying to control but God is working from the bottom.

Junior trying to control the position from guard on top but God is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Junior drops back looking for a leg! God is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and God manages to kick Junior off! Junior jumps back into God's guard. Francisco Junior has got the better of the ground game so far. Junior stands and throws God's legs to the side, diving into side control. Junior tries to advance to mount but God denies him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Junior wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by God, who protects the arm well. God is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. God is not content to let Junior control the position. Junior looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Junior is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, God has escaped the position, nice work there. God tries to get back to half guard but can't. Junior advances to mount. Junior working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
