Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tank Ispa (ranked 3633 p4p, 459 weight class) and French Frye (ranked 4094 p4p, 501 weight class). Frye is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Chainsmokers - Paris. French Frye will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tank Ispa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, French Frye! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ispa lands an overhand right. Frye fails to land with a series of punches.
Ispa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Frye lunges at Ispa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ispa's hand. Frye keeps the fight on the outside. Nice uppercut lands for Frye. That snapped Ispa's head back.
Ispa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ispa tries to clinch up but Frye circles away and keeps his distance. Ispa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Frye.
Tank Ispa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frye drops his hands momentarily and Ispa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Ispa lands a right hook to the body.
Frye uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ispa. Ispa drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A looping hook to the body misses from Frye. Ispa does a little dance to reset his feet. Ispa looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frye lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Frye uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ispa. French Frye is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ispa throws a body punch but Frye moves out of range. Frye is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Frye lands a head shot. Ispa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been hearing reports that Ispa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ispa misses with an uppercut. Frye stuns Ispa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Frye takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ispa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Frye was well out of range. Poor timing from Ispa. Nice shot by Ispa. Frye connects with a body shot that sends Ispa's belly button to the back. Frye looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ispa misses with a lunging right hand
and Frye cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Frye ducks under a wild hook from Ispa.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frye displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ispa throws out the jab. Ispa throws a hook but Frye avoids it easily. Frye moves away from the strike by Ispa. Ispa jabs Frye right on the nose. Frye blinks but takes it well. Ispa throws out a loose jab but Frye uses good head movement to avoid it. Ispa misses with a hook
and Frye counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A looping hook to the body misses from Ispa. Frye does a little dance to reset his feet. Ispa fails with the takedown. Frye looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ispa tries to clinch and Frye counters with a nice uppercut. Ispa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ispa misses with an uppercut. Frye saw that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frye misses the shot to the body. An attempted straight right counter from Ispa misses the target. Frye feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ispas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Frye has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Frye feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ispa sprawling to the canvas! Ispa rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Frye finish him?!
Ispa is rocked! Ispa misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Frye counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Ispa misses with a body shot.
Frye throws out a loose jab but Ispa uses good head movement to avoid it. Ispa is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Frye. Frye lands with a nice body punch. Frye is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ispa had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Frye scores with the left hand. Ispa knows he should have avoided that one. Frye drops Ispa with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ispa looks back up at him and smiles so Frye waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Ispa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Frye cracks Ispa on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ispa falls backwards against the ropes. Frye follows up with more strikes that drop Ispa to his knees. Frye keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ispa! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). French Frye! After the big win, French Frye made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Urban Fighter and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
