Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Grayson Crow (ranked 6398 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matte Trimet (ranked 7881 p4p, 0 weight class). Grayson Crow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Grayson Crow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matte Trimet! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Trimet circles away quickly and effectively. Trimet bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Crow manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Crow performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Trimet is trying to stand up here but Crow is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Crow in particular looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crow continues to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Trimet dives in and scores a takedown into Crow's guard. Crow pulls Trimet in close to prevent any damage. Crow keeping moving, preventing Trimet from controlling successfully. Trimet wants to stand but Crow has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crow tries to land a sweep but no joy. Crow wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Crow looking for a guillotine here but Trimet defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Trimet stopping the sweep attempt from Crow.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Trimet pushes Crow up against the cage in a clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. We've been informed that Trimet has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Crow jumps guard but Trimet turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Crow tries to pull guard but Trimet won't allow it.
Trimet is trying to stall.
Trimet is trying to force a seperation but Crow has the dominant position. Trimet gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Crow.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grayson Crow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Trimet is trying to stall.
Trimet with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matte Trimet dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

It looks like Grayson Crow has been cut. Crow tries to pull guard but Trimet forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Trimet escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Crow is trying to pull guard but Trimet turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Trimet is trying to break the clinch but Crow has him pressed against the cage. Trimet has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Trimet looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Crow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Trimet walks away with a smile on his face. Crow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grayson Crow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trimet throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Trimet moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Trimet uses from the top position. Crow wants to sweep here but Trimet controlling him for the moment. Trimet looking to sit in guard and control but Crow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trimet being controlled here, momentarily. Trimet keeping full guard, as Crow tries to pass. Crow slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Crow has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Trimet wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Crow manages to pass to side control. Trimet is trying to maintain the position but Crow is very close to passing his half guard. Crow wants to pass to mount but Trimet is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crow controlling the pace. Crow works his foot free and advances to mount. Crow tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Crow pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Grayson Crow overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Crow content just to control the position here. Trimet wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crow controlling from mount. Crow wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Crow controlling the pace for now. More hug and hope from Crow. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crow is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Trimet has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Trimet! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Grayson Crow will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Grayson Crow's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Crow connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Crow gets caught napping as Trimet dives in and scores a takedown. Crow manages to retain guard. Crow isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Trimet stacks Crow on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Trimet! Trimet working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trimet working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trimet tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Crow is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Trimet in the domination position with Crow hanging on. Crow is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Trimet is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Trimet controlling from mount. Trimet looking to control but Crow is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Crow gets back to half guard. Crow is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crow is controlling Trimet's position as best he can from this difficult position. Trimet controlling the pace. Crow on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Crow tries to get out of the position. Crow preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Crow throws out a loose jab but Trimet uses good head movement to avoid it. Crow looks for the body kick but Trimet saw that one coming. Despite the aggression on Trimet's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Trimet chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Crow gets tackled into the cage by Trimet. Trimet maintains the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crow is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Trimet to keep the fight standing. Crow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Trimet walks away with a smile on his face. Crow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Trimet instigates a clinch. Crow jumps guard and drags Trimet to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Crow is pulling down on Trimet's head. It's preventing any offense from Trimet, at least for the moment. Trimet wants to control from the top but Crow keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crow is working an open guard so Trimet takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Matte Trimet comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Trimet has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
