Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dre Battle (ranked 4224 p4p, 476 weight class) and Craig Jackson (ranked 6835 p4p, 619 weight class). Jackson has chosen Future - Mask Off as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Dre Battle has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dre Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig Jackson! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Battle gets caught napping as Jackson dives in and scores a takedown. Battle manages to retain guard. Battle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Battle tries to get out of the position. Jackson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Battle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Battle wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Battle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Battle wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson trying to control but Battle is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Craig Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Battle closes the distance and pushes Jackson back into the cage. Battle lands a left hand.
Jackson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Battle gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Battle works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A short right from Battle on the inside. Battle is leaning against Jackson and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Battle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Battle connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and Battle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Battle drops Jackson with a huge uppercut! Jackson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Battle is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dre Battle! Dre Battle decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
