Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Cain (ranked 1120 p4p, 156 weight class) and Nuke Laloosh (ranked 1809 p4p, 237 weight class). Cain comes to the cage accompanied by LazerBeam. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nuke Laloosh!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laloosh pushes Cain up against the cage in a clinch.
Laloosh tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Laloosh.
Cain definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Laloosh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cain swings wildly with an uppercut but Laloosh uses good head movement to avoid it.
Laloosh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cain walks away with a smile on his face. Laloosh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Laloosh lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like David Cain has been cut.
Cain misses with a body shot.
Cain misses with a low kick.
Cain scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


It looks like Nuke Laloosh has been cut.

Laloosh clinches up against the cage.
Cain misses with some punches.
Laloosh takes a shot to the head.
Laloosh blocking some punches.
Laloosh struggles to land a body shot inside as Cain controls his hands.
Laloosh misses with some punches.
Laloosh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cain walks away with a smile on his face. Laloosh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Laloosh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cain half committed to a counter leg kick.

Cain's jab looks to have found its range, popping Laloosh under the eye.
Cain swings away with a body shot that misses
and Laloosh makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Laloosh has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Cain takes one to the chin there.
Laloosh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cain paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cain lands a nice looking body shot.
Cain looks to throw the jab but Laloosh is out of range.
Cain fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Laloosh misses with a left hand
and Cain counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Laloosh goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Cain throws a nice inside leg kick.

Cain moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Laloosh goes down! Can Cain finish him!?


Laloosh is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cain is looking to stand up but Laloosh won't let him.
Laloosh is still in real trouble! Can Cain finish him?
Cain is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Laloosh seems to have recovered his senses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cain tries to stand but Laloosh is controlling from the bottom.
Laloosh wants to stand but Cain is controlling the position.
Cain might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Laloosh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cain tries to stand but Laloosh is controlling from the bottom.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cain throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Laloosh stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Cain follows into mount!
Laloosh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cain wants to stand but Laloosh is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Cain controlling from mount.
Laloosh throwing hammer fists to the chest of Cain. What's that going to do exactly?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cain content just to control the position here.
Cain is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cain controlling his opponent.
Laloosh wants to control but Cain is having none of it.
Cain trying to control but Laloosh is having none of it.
Cain wants to get back to his feet but Laloosh is holding on tight.
Laloosh is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Cain dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Laloosh fails in his attempt to clinch.
Laloosh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cain throws a quick counter kick to the body but Laloosh avoids it.
Laloosh chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Laloosh thumps Cain with a low kick.
Laloosh moves out of range of the body kick.
Laloosh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cain.
Cain blocks a leg kick.
Cain swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Laloosh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cain jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.


That has opened up Nuke Laloosh's cut even more.
Laloosh connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laloosh looks to land a left hand but Cain moved out of range nicely.
Laloosh misses with a right hand
and Cain counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Laloosh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Cain takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Cain throws out a loose jab but Laloosh uses good head movement to avoid it.
David Cain is winning the standup battle so far.
Laloosh tries to clinch but Cain is having none of it.
Laloosh throws a leg kick
and Cain counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Laloosh throws a poor cross that misses
and Cain counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Laloosh thinking.
Cain ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Laloosh is breathing heavily.

Cain throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Laloosh stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Cain follows into mount!

Cain is looking to stand but Laloosh has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Cain tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Laloosh is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cain is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Cain tries to stand up but Laloosh had a hold of his arm and he's managed to perform a nice reversal, into half guard.
Laloosh sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cain defending well though.
Cain is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Laloosh can do to turn this around?

Cain tries to kick Laloosh off but Laloosh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Laloosh is trying to control the action in half guard but Cain is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cain keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Laloosh missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Cain looks like he's trying to stand up.
Laloosh wants to free his trapped foot but Cain is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cain tries to kick Laloosh off but Laloosh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Laloosh is defended easily by Cain.
Laloosh sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cain throws the left hand but Laloosh avoids the punch easily.

Laloosh forces Cain back against the cage and clinches.
Laloosh is looking for a takedown.
Cain lands with a short shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Cain dominated that second round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Laloosh drives through and clinches with Cain against the cage.
Laloosh looking for a takedown.

Laloosh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cain walks away with a smile on his face. Laloosh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cain fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Laloosh checks it well.
Cain swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Laloosh throws a leg kick
and Cain counters with a low kick, right behind Laloosh 's knee.
Cain lands a jab to Laloosh's midsection.
Laloosh takes a swing at Cain's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laloosh throws a jab but it's blocked by Cain.
A quick step to the side and Cain tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Laloosh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Laloosh throws a leg kick that misses.
Laloosh throws out a loose jab but Cain uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cain on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Laloosh. Laloosh obviously looking to wear him down.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Laloosh misses with a low kick as Cain jumps back.
David Cain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Laloosh staying out of range there.
Laloosh has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Laloosh there as he acknowledges the shot.
Cain throws a low kick but Laloosh moves out of range easily.
Cain fakes the leg kick and cracks Laloosh in the body.
Laloosh moves out of range of the body kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Cain. That snapped Laloosh's head back.
Laloosh tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cain scores with a counter punch that sends Laloosh to the canvas! Cain smells blood - he's punishing Laloosh with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Laloosh has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Cain!
A relieved looking David Cain thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
