Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Clark ! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Otcho Otcho! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Otcho fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Clark closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Clark wants to take the fight to the mat but Otcho manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Otcho tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Clark just stands there and leans against the cage. Clark manages to break the clinch.
Clark pushes Otcho up against the cage in a clinch. Clark scores with a hook to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Otcho has Clark pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Clark manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Corey Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Otcho Otcho. Otcho misses with some punches.
Clark breaks from the clinch.
Otcho shoots in looking for a takedown. Clark tries to sprawl out of it but Otcho keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like Clark was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Otcho.
That's one minute gone in the round. Otcho with a jab. Otcho moves into range and clinches up with Clark . Clark stalling in the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Clark gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Clark controlling the pace. Otcho is trying to stand.
Otcho wants to control but Clark is keeping busy.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Clark seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Clark not doing much here.

Otcho cracks Clark with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Otcho tries to clinch up. Clark throws a lazy right hand but Otcho sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Clark takes one to the chin there. Clark stuffs the takedown. Clark was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Otcho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Clark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Otcho won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! You can see the frustration on Otcho's face as Clark controls the position. Otcho is looking to regain half guard here but Clark keeps moving and retains side control. Clark slows the pace down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clark scores with a jab. Clark fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Otcho to the ground. Clark is now in Otcho's guard. Otcho wants to get back to his feet but Clark passes into half guard.
Clark seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Otcho looking for submissions from an awkward position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Otcho for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Otcho wants to clinch. Otcho tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Clark manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Otcho is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Otcho throws a push kick but Clark slaps the foot to one side. Otcho tries to close the distance and clinch but Clark swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Otcho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clark as he jumps to the side. Clark throws a big counter combination but Otcho scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Otcho tries to clinch up and Clark counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Otcho throws a hook to the side of Clark 's head but Clark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Clark was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Otcho tries to close the distance and clinch but Clark swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Clark moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corey Clark dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Clark leaves Otcho with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Clark stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clark wants it to stay on the feet. Otcho misses with a takedown and Clark counters with a lovely straight right hand! Corey Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Otcho Otcho. Otcho gets tackled into the cage by Clark . Clark maintains the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Clark - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've been informed that Otcho has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Clark lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Clark closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Otcho quickly recovers to half guard. Clark looks to land a strike but Otcho avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Clark slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Further stalling from Clark .

Corey Clark clearly takes that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Clark has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Otcho is trying to keep an underhook but Clark manages to get the takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Clark seems content to control. This is a sustained period of stalling by Clark .
That's two minutes gone in the round. Otcho wants to get back to full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Clark stops Otcho from getting back to his feet.

Clark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Otcho darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A head kick misses from Otcho. Clark clinches. Clark has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Otcho regains guard immediately. Otcho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Otcho being controlled here, momentarily.

Corey Clark had his way with Otcho Otcho in that round. That's time! Clark 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Clark counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Otcho! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Otcho is looking to reverse the position. Clark remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Clark continues to stall.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Clark checks the leg kick nicely there.
It looked like Clark wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Otcho misses with a head kick.
Otcho throws a sloppy head kick and Otcho takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Clark with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Otcho to score with a decent uppercut. Clark throws a right and a left that Otcho avoids nicely. Despite the aggression on Otcho's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Clark missing with a left hand there. Otcho was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Otcho. Beautiful body shot. Otcho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clark swats him away and circles back towards the center. Clark takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Otcho misses with a lunging right hand
and Clark connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Otcho takes a swing at Clark 's ribcage but misses. Otcho gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Otcho is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Otcho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Clark controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Clark 's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Clark scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clark controls from within his opponent's guard. Otcho Otcho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Corey Clark is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
