Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jin Jin Ipa (ranked 1564 p4p, 146 weight class) and Cayden Cadman (ranked 2099 p4p, 201 weight class). Cayden Cadman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jin Jin Ipa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cayden Cadman ! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Cadman as Ipa shoots in. Cadman throws a counter combo. Ipa fails with a takedown attempt. Cadman wants to counter with a clinch but Ipa pushes him away. Cadman connects with a right hand. Ipa shakes it off. Ipa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cadman is fending him off so far but Ipa persists. Nope, Cadman circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jin Jin Ipa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ipa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Cadman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ipa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ipa lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ipa not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ipa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ipa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ipa wants to work for an arm triangle but Cadman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Ipa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cadman blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ipa. Ipa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ipa is keen to just control but Cadman is a slippery customer. Ipa missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Cadman blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ipa. Cadman tries to roll over but Ipa keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ipa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cadman keeps working. Ipa winds up and cracks Cadman with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Cadman is concentrating on defense, preventing Ipa from advancing position. Ipa lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Cadman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ipa drops an elbow to the side of Cadman 's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ipa missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Cadman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ipa scores with a couple of nice shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cadman is defending against the submission attempts here by Ipa.
Cadman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ipa is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Ipa trying to pass the guard but Cadman defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cadman is positioning himself well to prevent Ipa advancing to mount. Ipa wants to control but Cadman is keeping him busy. Ipa throwing shots but Cadman is blocking nicely. Cadman trying to control here.
Cadman holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Ipa has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ipa is looking to advance position but Cadman won't allow it. Ipa content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jin Jin Ipa dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ipa tries for a takedown but Cadman circles away easily and Cadman counters with a straight right hand. Ipa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cadman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cadman slaps away a takedown attempt from Ipa, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jin Jin Ipa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ipa looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Ipa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cadman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ipa misses with a takedown and Cadman moves into the clinch. Ipa tries to score a body lock takedown but Cadman shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Cadman lands with a right to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cadman pushes Ipa back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Ipa is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cadman gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ipa has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cadman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Cadman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ipa tries for a takedown but Cadman circles away easily and Cadman counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ipa! Cadman lets Ipa back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ipa is rocked! Cadman has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ipa with a lazy takedown attempt and Cadman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Oh Ipa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cadman fakes the body blow, causing Ipa to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Ipa goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cayden Cadman ! An out of breath Cayden Cadman thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
