2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kid Romans! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshijiri has managed to clinch.
Romans looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Romans looks to throw an elbow but misses. Romans lands an elbow inside that Yoshijiri shrugs off. Yoshijiri is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Romans to keep the fight standing. Romans is defending well against a takedown attempt. Yoshijiri pulls guard successfully.
Yoshijiri looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Yoshijiri is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yoshijiri has control of Romans's left arm, preventing Romans from doing any damage.

Romans has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yoshijiri is proving hard to escape from. Romans told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Yoshijiri has his hands on Romans's head, controlling the position.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Romans got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yoshijiri has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Romans has managed to get both his arms back between Yoshijiri's legs - danger averted.

Yoshijiri pulls Romans in close to his closed guard and prevents Romans from doing any damage or advancing position. Romans wants to stand but Yoshijiri is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Yoshijiri dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Yoshijiri pushes Romans up against the cage in a clinch. Yoshijiri has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Romans is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Romans pushes off an throws an elbow but Yoshijiri leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Yoshijiri displaying some good clinch control by pressing Romans up against the cage. Romans gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Yoshijiri.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yoshijiri has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yoshijiri is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Romans defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Yoshijiri will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Yoshijiri gets a clinch. Yoshijiri jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Romans walks away with a smile on his face. Yoshijiri gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Yoshijiri has closed the distance and engaged Romans in a clinch.
Yoshijiri gets control of Romans's arms and successfully pulls guard. Yoshijiri will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Yoshijiri pulls Romans in close to prevent any damage. Romans must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Yoshijiri is looking for a triangle but Romans pushes his legs off easily.

Romans doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Yoshijiri is tightening it up a little... Romans has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Romans reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Romans taps out! Nice BJJ there by Yoshijiri!
