Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dave Brown (ranked 3173 p4p, 376 weight class) and Takamura Mamoru (ranked 2913 p4p, 350 weight class). Mamoru has chosen The Great Takamura as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
23 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takamura Mamoru!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamoru dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brown. That did some damage!
Jab by Brown.
Mamoru avoids the body shot from Brown.
Mamoru misses with a head kick.
Brown throws a nice looking combination but Mamoru bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brown tries to clinch up but Mamoru circles away and keeps his distance.
Mamoru throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.
Brown misses with a left hand
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dave Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brown has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
Brown is looking to clinch.
Brown does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Brown misses the jab.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Mamoru swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mamoru! But no joy.
Mamoru lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Brown has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mamoru finds it's way round the side to connect with Brown's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mamoru lands the left hand.
Brown scores with the left hand. Mamoru knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Takamura Mamoru has been cut.
Mamoru walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Brown and drops face first to the floor! Mamoru's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Mamoru in no position to continue!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Dave Brown!
During a confident post fight interview, Dave Brown thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Takamura Mamoru stepped up to the mic, saying 'you win or you learn.'.
