Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between John Kyle Romo (ranked 8383 p4p, 624 weight class) and Karol Tarczynski (ranked 3015 p4p, 351 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
50 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Kyle Romo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
38 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Karol Tarczynski! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tarczynski connects with the punch. A head kick by Romo misses and Tarczynski counters by clinching up. A head punch on the inside from Romo fails to land. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Romo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Romo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tarczynski is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Tarczynski blocks an uppercut.
Romo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tarczynski avoids it. Romo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tarczynski has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Romo throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Romo. Tarczynski shrugs it off though. Tarczynski doesn't manage to clinch there - Romo circles away.

Tarczynski has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Romo with a nice looking leg kick. A punch lands to the side of Romo 's head but he takes it in his stride. Romo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A shot to the liver by Tarczynski. Beautiful body shot. Tarczynski misses the shot to the body. Romo tries to counter by clinching up but Tarczynski breaks away and moves out of range. Romo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Tarczynski looks like he wants to counter punch here. Romo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tarczynski circles away quickly and effectively. Some wild striking there from Romo.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Tarczynski moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. John Kyle Romo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romo on the wrong end of a nice jab. Tarczynski looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Romo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tarczynski. Romo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tarczynski. Romo closes the distance looking to clinch and Tarczynski counters with a nice body kick. Romo throws a right hand that misses

That was a close round but I would say that John Kyle Romo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Karol Tarczynski's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tarczynski scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Romo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Both fighters working to control the clinch. Tarczynski is trying to maintain a safe position but Romo gets an underhook and turns Tarczynski into the ropes. Romo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Romo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tarczynski.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romo misses the shot to the body. Tarczynski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Romo moves out of range of the body kick from Tarczynski.
Tarczynski thuds his shin into the meat of Romo's side. Tarczynski moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Romo connects with an inside leg kick. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Romo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tarczynski has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tarczynski and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Tarczynski on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Romo throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Tarczynski counters with a left to the body. Tarczynski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Romo lands with a straight right. Tarczynski didn't see that one coming. Tarczynski has taken the fight to the clinch.

Tarczynski is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Romo rather than just go for the knockout. Romo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Romo throws a leg kick but Tarczynski sees it coming and moves out of range. A little jabbing left from Tarczynski on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Tarczynski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Tarczynski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Tarczynski works on Romo's body with a couple of short punches. Romo takes a knee to the side of the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Romo. Romo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Tarczynski looking to slow down the pace here. Tarczynski crunches a lovely knee into Romo's ribcage. Tarczynski manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tarczynski ducks under a wild hook from Romo. Romo is looking to slow Tarczynski down with leg kicks. Tarczynski keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Romo. Romo misses with a leg kick and Tarczynski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Romo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Tarczynski throws a looping overhand right but Romo ducks down to avoid it. Tarczynski cracks a nice hook into Romo's ribs. Tarczynski throws a leg kick which misses Romo's front leg but catches the back leg as Romo tries to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Karol Tarczynski. I think Tarczynski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
