Galanos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. oh boy, he's walking out in gladiator trunks kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hero Galanos!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galanos scores with a jab to the head.
Galanos scores with a push kick.
Galanos pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Galanos lands with a nice combination. Chipperson backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Lyle Chipperson has been cut.
Chipperson dives in and grabs Galanos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Galanos pushes down on Chipperson's head and hops out.
Galanos connects with an inside leg kick.

Galanos looks for the body kick but Chipperson saw that one coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Galanos displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chipperson.

Galanos scores with a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Galanos. Chipperson does a little dance to reset his feet.
A nice inside leg kick there by Galanos. That's going to slow Chipperson down.
Galanos feints and then cracks Chipperson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chipperson down.
Galanos misses with a looping right.
Galanos connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Chipperson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Galanos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hero Galanos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Galanos lunges at Chipperson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Chipperson's hand.
Galanos closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Chipperson! Galanos dives in looking to finish! Chipperson is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hero Galanos!

The defeated Lyle Chipperson had this to say: 'This greased-up steroid-monster won just because my pre-fight blueberry smoothie was laced! And the judges and the referee were bought! And it was an early stoppage! And even the goddamn mat was too slippery!'.
