Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Markus Remoreras (ranked 10205 p4p, 509 weight class) and Erick Clap (ranked 3282 p4p, 286 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Remoreras might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ludacris feat. Nas and Jay-Z - I Do It For Hip-Hop. Clap has chosen Burn it to the ground as his entrance music. Markus Remoreras has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 14 - 2, fighting out of New York, Erick Clap!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clap swings for the body but Remoreras moves out of range.
Clap fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Remoreras on the side of the head.
Remoreras scores with a push kick.
Clap bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Clap keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Remoreras.
Clap lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Clap tries to keep at a distance but Remoreras has taken the fight into the clinch.
Remoreras is trying to break the clinch but Clap has him pressed against the ropes.
Remoreras blocks the elbow strike.
I was talking to Remoreras's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Clap keeps control of Remoreras as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Clap lands a nice uppercut.
Remoreras lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Clap backwards.
Remoreras pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Remoreras avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Clap clobbers Remoreras with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Clap has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

That was a close round but I would say that Markus Remoreras will probably get the nod.
