Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Darry Curtis (ranked 22126 p4p, 704 weight class) and Eric Draven (ranked 10174 p4p, 736 weight class). Curtis's entrance music is The Outsiders 'Stay Gold' by Stevie Wonder . A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darry Curtis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Draven! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Curtis moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Curtis feints a jab promting Draven to slip. Curtis then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Draven slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Curtis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Eric Draven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Curtis takes one to the side of the head.
Curtis misses with a straight right. Curtis checks a leg kick nicely. Curtis lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Draven walks into a straight right hand from Curtis. Draven throws a solid leg kick but Curtis takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Draven. Curtis misses the shot to the body. A big right from Draven misses. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Draven lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Curtis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Curtis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Curtis throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Draven throws a hook but Curtis blocks it. Curtis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Curtis connects with a solid leg kick. That kick from Curtis tenderised Draven's leg. Draven is trying to keep his angry face on. Draven lands a nice shot to the body.
Draven throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Curtis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Draven misses with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curtis moves in looking to clinch but Draven pushes him off. Curtis misses with a wild body shot. A punch lands to the side of Curtis 's head but he takes it in his stride. Draven throws out a leg kick but Curtis moves out of range and Draven only half commits. Curtis moves out of range as Draven throws a body kick.
Draven uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Curtis.
Curtis throws a hook to the side of Draven's head but Draven sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Draven! But no joy. Curtis throws a body shot but no joy. Draven cracks Curtis with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Curtis moves into the clinch successfully.
Draven misses with a punch to the body.
Curtis lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Draven. Curtis unloads a knee to the mid-section. Draven misses with a hook to the ribs.
A short body shot lands from Curtis as the two fighters clinch.
Draven is working Curtis over against the ropes. Draven swings wildly with an uppercut but Curtis uses good head movement to avoid it. Curtis tries to land a knee to the head but Draven blocks with his arms.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Draven blocks a body shot from Curtis. Curtis scores with an uppercut up the middle. Curtis blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Curtis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Curtis scores with a nice hook to the head. Curtis throws a head punch that misses. Curtis keeps control of Draven as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Draven scores with a shot to the side of Curtis's head. Draven lands a left hand.

An inside leg kick from Curtis misses. Draven tries to clinch but Curtis moves out of range. A quick step to the side and Curtis tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Curtis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Both fighters circling a little - Draven finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Draven is looking to slow Curtis down with leg kicks. Curtis lands a nice shot that snaps Draven's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Darry Curtis will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Draven tries to work over Curtis's front leg with a kick but Curtis checks it. Curtis throws the kick towards the body but Draven avoids it. Draven looks to land a body kick but Curtis moved away. Curtis is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Draven scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Curtis scores with a jab. Draven acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Draven on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Curtis moves away from the strike by Draven. Darry Curtis is winning the standup battle so far. Curtis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Curtis jabs at Draven's body. Curtis connects with a leg kick. Draven looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Draven walks forward, straight into a front kick from Curtis. Draven dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Curtis pushes Draven up against the ropes in a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Curtis working aggressively here.
Curtis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Draven can do to turn this around? Curtis tries to throw a body punch but Draven avoids it by throwing Curtis back against the ropes. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Draven. A short right from Curtis on the inside. Draven lands a nice uppercut. A nice left hand lands by Curtis.

Curtis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Curtis throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Draven appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Curtis checks the leg kick. Curtis drives through and clinches with Draven against the ropes.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Draven. Curtis scores with a shot to the side of Draven's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Draven escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Curtis throws a lazy right hand but Draven sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Curtis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Draven momentarily.
A clash of legs there as Curtis blocks the low kick. Curtis pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Draven has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Draven scores with a nice body kick.
Draven is looking to chop away at Curtis's legs. Curtis wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Draven looks for the body kick but Curtis saw that one coming. Draven walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Curtis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Curtis. Draven shrugs it off though. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Draven closes the distance and clinches. Draven lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Curtis blocks an uppercut.

That was a close second round but I would say that Darry Curtis will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Curtis moves away from the strike by Draven. Draven tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Curtis was well out of range. Poor timing from Draven. Curtis on the wrong end of a nice jab. Curtis keeps Draven at a distance using the push kick. Draven comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Curtis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Curtis scores with a leg kick.
Draven is looking to land body kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Draven uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Draven moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Curtis throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Draven to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Curtis connects with the punch. A low kick from Draven misses and Curtis counters with a lovely straight right hand! Draven uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Curtis.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Curtis, as that shot connected.

It looked like Curtis was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Draven. Draven is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Draven feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Curtis's calf. A solid leg kick lands there for Curtis.
Curtis cracks Draven with a good jab. Draven jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Curtis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Draven gets off balance looking for a body kick and Curtis counters with a left to the body. Danga de danga de dang - Curtis scores with a four punch combination! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That kick from Curtis tenderised Draven's leg. Draven is trying to keep his angry face on. Nice defenses there by Curtis. Curtis keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

As Draven tries to get set, Curtis tries to push him back and clinch up but Draven manages to avoid the attempt. Curtis thuds his right hand into Draven's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Curtis feints and then cracks Draven's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Draven down. Draven throws a leg kick but Curtis sees it coming and moves out of range. Draven ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Curtis moves away. A looping hook to the body misses from Draven. Curtis does a little dance to reset his feet. Draven tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Curtis was well out of range. Poor timing from Draven. Curtis dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Curtis swinging wildly here.

Curtis takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Darry Curtis. Well Curtis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
