Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bong Ji Woo (ranked 635 p4p, 32 weight class) and Wamberto Boaz (ranked 616 p4p, 30 weight class). Ji Woo comes to the cage accompanied by 나쁜 달 상승. Boaz has chosen Preciso me encontrar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bong Ji Woo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Wamberto Boaz! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boaz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Ji Woo throws a good cross that connects.
Boaz throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ji Woo looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Ji Woo jabbing away but nothing is landing. A big left from Boaz misses. Ji Woo looks to land a right hand but Boaz moved out of range. Ji Woo drops his hands momentarily and Boaz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Ji Woo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ji Woo throws a head kick that misses. Ji Woo avoids the body shot from Boaz.
Boaz jabs Ji Woo to the body, keeping him at a distance. Boaz scores with a shot to the body.

It looked like Ji Woo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Boaz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boaz dives in and scores a takedown into Ji Woo's guard. Boaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Ji Woo is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ji Woo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ji Woo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ji Woo looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Boaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Ji Woo is retaining full guard. Ji Woo is trying to control the position but Boaz postures up. Boaz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ji Woo's guard. Boaz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ji Woo tries to roll over but Boaz keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Boaz works his way into side control. Ji Woo is trying to get back to half guard. Boaz goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ji Woo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Boaz's guard! Nice work there by Ji Woo! Ji Woo is sitting in close to Boaz's body. Boaz has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ji Woo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ji Woo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Boaz.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Wamberto Boaz! Wamberto Boaz was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
