Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Walcott (ranked 1226 p4p, 65 weight class) and Cole Reynolds (ranked 1199 p4p, 61 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Walcott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Cole Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds's corner calls for a 1-2. Reynolds obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A jab lands there for Walcott.
A slow jab from Walcott misses its intended target.
Reynolds looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nice uppercut lands for Walcott. That snapped Reynolds's head back.

Walcott misses with a wild body shot.
Walcott jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Reynolds works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Reynolds misses the shot to the body.
Reynolds takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice straight punches there by Walcott. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Walcott.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walcott scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Walcott throws a looping overhand right but Reynolds ducks down to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Reynolds! But no joy.
Walcott throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Reynolds counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Walcott throws a shot to the body.
Walcott tries to clinch but Reynolds is having none of it.
Tommy Walcott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walcott throws a looping overhand right but Reynolds ducks down to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walcott swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Walcott lands a glancing blow to the side of Reynolds's head.
Reynolds throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Walcott stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Walcott thuds a left hand into Reynolds's body.
Reynolds blocks the body kick.
Walcott swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Walcott throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reynolds sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Reynolds flicks out a counter leg kick but Walcott steps away.
Reynolds takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Walcott jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Reynolds looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Walcott misses the shot to the body.
Reynolds feints a counter leg kick.
Reynolds moves out of range of the strikes.
Reynolds follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Walcott misses with a straight left.
Walcott lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reynolds at a distance.
Walcott connects with a body shot that sends Reynolds's belly button to the back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reynolds is looking to score with low kicks.
Walcott connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Walcott. Reynolds does a little dance to reset his feet.
Walcott misses the shot to the body.
Reynolds swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Reynolds ducks under a wild hook from Walcott.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reynolds, as that shot connected.
Walcott takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Reynolds counters with a head kick that drops Walcott to the mat! Walcott scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


Walcott is rocked!
Walcott cracks Reynolds with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Oh Walcott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walcott checks a leg kick.
Walcott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Reynolds cracks Walcott on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Walcott falls backwards against the cage. Reynolds follows up with more strikes that drop Walcott to his knees. Reynolds keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Walcott! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cole Reynolds!
Cole Reynolds spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
