PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Putin (ranked 8284 p4p, 325 weight class) and Henry The Crab (ranked 2266 p4p, 112 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The Crab is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Putin.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

The Crab throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Putin sees it coming and avoids it easily.

The Crab lunges at Putin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Putin's hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Crab avoids a punch combination nicely.

The Crab cracks Putin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Putin throws a hook to the side of The Crab's head but The Crab sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The Crab closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Putin! The Crab dives in looking to finish! Putin is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
