The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yung. Yung obviously looking to wear him down.
Cunningham takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nice shot by Yung.
Yung fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cunningham.
Cunningham stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yung.
Cunningham on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Yung is looking to slow Cunningham down with leg kicks.
Cunningham has his takedown stuffed
and Yung counters with a good low kick that Cunningham was not able to check.
Cunningham walks forward, straight into a front kick from Yung.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Yung! Cunningham is out on his feet! Yung rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Cunningham is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Cunningham is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Yung!
