Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Lowe (ranked 646 p4p, 95 weight class) and Kaspars Petrovs (ranked 1163 p4p, 171 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowe tries to move into range but Petrovs moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lowe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Petrovs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Petrovs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Lowe sets himself, and Petrovs steps forward looking for the clinch! Lowe avoids it this time.
Petrovs tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lowe paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lowe throws a front kick that sends Petrovs stumbling back into the cage.

Lowe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Petrovs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kaspars Petrovs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lowe tries to clinch but Petrovs moves out of range.
A nice combination there by Petrovs.
Lowe throws a half hearted mid kick.
Petrovs throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lowe cracks Petrovs with a right hand to the side of the head.

Lowe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Petrovs. That did some damage!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Curtis Lowe will probably get the nod.

And Lowe counters with a quick kick to the body but Petrovs blocks it.
Petrovs takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Petrovs lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Lowe falls backwards - clearly groggy! Petrovs dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaspars Petrovs!
