Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between CrackO Azz (ranked 1728 p4p, 183 weight class) and Marcinho Sitsongrit (ranked 1502 p4p, 155 weight class). Marcinho Sitsongrit acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, CrackO Azz!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcinho Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitsongrit shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Azz pinned against the cage. Azz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sitsongrit takes a swing at Azz's ribcage but misses.
Sitsongrit shoots in for a takedown but Azz shows good takedown defense.
Azz misses with a looping left.
Azz misses with a looping right.
Azz misses the jab.
We've been told by Azz's head coaches at Men Only. No Liberals ! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azz throws a combination that misses

and Sitsongrit counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Azz wants to improve his position but Sitsongrit is controlling well.
Sitsongrit controlling the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sitsongrit wants to work for an arm triangle but Azz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Azz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Azz tries to get out of the position.
Sitsongrit keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Sitsongrit trying to mount his opponent but Azz defends it.

Sitsongrit is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sitsongrit tries to pass to full mount but Azz defends it.
Azz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sitsongrit on the ground.
Sitsongrit keeps trying to improve his position.

Sitsongrit keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Sitsongrit is working for a kimura but Azz is defending it quite comfortably.
Sitsongrit wants to free his trapped foot but Azz is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Sitsongrit is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Azz has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sitsongrit is taking a breather. Azz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Azz is looking to improve his position.
Sitsongrit seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like Sitsongrit might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Sitsongrit moves into full mount! Azz won't be happy about that!
Sitsongrit tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sitsongrit wants to finish this one by submission but Azz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcinho Sitsongrit dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Azz misses with a right hand

and Sitsongrit counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Sitsongrit's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sitsongrit has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Sitsongrit sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Azz's guard.
Sitsongrit looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Azz trying to control from the bottom.
Sitsongrit is keen to just control but Azz is a slippery customer.
Sitsongrit slows the pace down in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sitsongrit tries to pass the half guard into mount. Azz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Sitsongrit not doing much here.
Sitsongrit passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Azz!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sitsongrit takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Sitsongrit moves to back control.
Sitsongrit gets his hands free as Azz looks to control.

Sitsongrit has got one arm under Azz's chin. This could be trouble... Azz trying to control the other hand but Sitsongrit gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Azz has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Marcinho Sitsongrit!
Marcinho Sitsongrit is the new featherweight champion!
Marcinho Sitsongrit bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
