Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Borrego!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Harris seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A telegraphed right hand from Harris misses the target.
Borrego looks to throw the jab but Harris is out of range.
Borrego has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Borrego pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Harris connects with a jab.
Harris throws a low kick, looking for Borrego's leg but Borrego calmly moves out of range.
Borrego cracks Harris with a good jab.
Borrego keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harris.
Harris misses with a few strikes there.
Mark Borrego seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harris throws a combination that misses
and Borrego counters with a stiff right hand.
Harris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Borrego stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Borrego throws a looping overhand right but Harris ducks down to avoid it.

Borrego gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Harris tries to work over Borrego's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Borrego creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Borrego jabs Harris right on the nose. Harris blinks but takes it well.

Harris throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Harris tries to stall but Borrego uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Harris lands a hook to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harris drops Borrego with a naaaaasty hook - Borrego is in real trouble here! Harris dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

An out of breath Jason Harris thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Mark Borrego was interviewed post fight and said 'I demand a rematch.....he was boring my nuts.'.
