Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Rock (ranked 272 p4p, 38 weight class) and Karlsson På Taket (ranked 500 p4p, 63 weight class). Rock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Wanna Rock. På Taket has chosen Stuck In The Middle With You as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Rock lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Rock throws a nice inside leg kick.

På Taket loads up on a big right hand but Rock slips the punch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rock.
A nice side step and På Taket releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from På Taket.

It seemed like På Taket was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Will Rock will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It looks like Rock has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
På Taket looks to land a left hand but Rock moved out of range nicely.

På Taket's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

På Taket takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
På Taket looks to land a right hand but Rock moved out of range.
På Taket moves forwards but Rock connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but På Taket might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Rock has got the better of the exchanges.
