Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brain Fog (ranked 1459 p4p, 77 weight class) and Gary Dema (ranked 2339 p4p, 115 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brain Fog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gary Dema! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Skip Squint and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body punch from Dema. Dema tries to clinch but Fog moves out of range. Dema takes one to the side of the head.
A big right from Dema misses. Dema misses with a lunging right hand
and Fog counters with a shoot takedown. Dema fights it but they end up in guard. Fog looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dema is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dema thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Fog is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Dema is trying to keep Fog in close.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dema walks into a jab. Dema closes the distance looking to clinch and Fog counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dema thinking. Fog definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dema misses the body punch and Fog counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dema won't be happy with that. Fog controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fog's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Dema felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dema can't do much from the bottom here. Dema is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dema tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fog controls the position. Dema can't do much from the bottom here. Fog takes a little break here. Dema wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dema missing with a left hand there. Fog was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fog moves away from the strike by Dema. Dema closes the distance and clinches. Fog breaks from the clinch.
Dema looks to land a right hand but Fog moved out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brain Fog dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dema tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fog was well out of range. Poor timing from Dema. Dema throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fog sees it coming and avoids it easily. Fog avoids the body shot from Dema.
Dema lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Dema misses with a low kick.
Dema shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Dema connects with a high kick. Dema throws a head kick that misses and Fog counters with a takedown into side control. Fog is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Dema is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dema being controlled for a moment. Fog is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dema knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fog controls the position from side control. Dema wants to control but Fog postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fog is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Dema is looking to regain half guard here but Fog keeps moving and retains side control. Fog slows the pace down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Dema's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dema being controlled for a moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Fog looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fog working away. Fog is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dema looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fog gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dema is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fog lets go of the hold and Dema can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Brain Fog! Post fight, an emotional Brain Fog said 'Determined, so-so chin.'.
