The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gunnar. That one must have hurt.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gunnar sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gunnar jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Gunnar wants to slow Smith down by chopping away at his legs.
Smith walks into a left hand.
Gunnar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smith swings for the body but Gunnar moves out of range.
Smith throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gunnar counters with a good, hard body kick but Smith shrugs it off.
Smith looks winded!
Gunnar moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Gunnar fakes the leg kick and cracks Smith in the body.
Gunnar scores with a kick to the midsection.
Gunnar seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Smith takes one on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gunnar measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Smith! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Adam Gunnar!
